PURE REASON REVOLUTION - IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Hi There!
Everybody knows the moons made of cheese! But does everybody know that Moonloop open-air festival is made out of licorice? Well it is & it’s in the Crimea, Ukraine, Cape Kazantip 12/8/11. It’s taking place on a jetty of licorice land that extends into the black licorice sea. Aphex Twin headlines our night. We’ll all be wearing skintight black licorice trousers.
Next up, BIG “DARK THIRD” TOUR: We’re currently booking a tour that will take place between late October-November & will be a first for PRR, being a 2-hour/2-part concert.
Part 1 will be songs from “Amor Vincit Omnia” & “Hammer & Anvil”, Part 2 will be the original “Dark Third” in its entirety, including ‘Goshen’s Remains’ and ‘He Tried to Show Them Magic’ which we have never played live before! Dates confirmed so far:
Nov 11th - The Netherlands, Zootermeer, de Boerderij
Nov 12th – The Netherlands, Uden, De Pul
Dates for the full tour will follow shortly and will include shows in France, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Germany, Belgium and the UK but after these concerts there are no plans for any further shows.
PRRx.
While I'm absolutely blown away by the fact that I'm finally going to see Goshen's live, I just very sincerely hope that it's only me who sees the hidden word "forever" in the last sentence...

Did I write my prediction here? 'cos I totally called TDT being played in full. I kinda hope they get a keyboard player or something in for that really... and Goshens has been played live really, just not on electric guitars and that. i'm such a geek

Great news.
I wonder if it will be the from the UK release of TDT. If so, does this mean no Intention Craft?
I'm sure they'll sneak that in at the end though.

I'm so thrilled to finally see them play a 'mature' show!
No plans for any further shows... I hope this means that they have plans to record a new album after this tour.

If you've got the ones that were filmed from just one camera then yeah, but I don't know if they ever really got out? If you've got the ones filmed by three or four cameras then it wasn't my work, but I uploaded those here a while ago. Great news. I wonder if it will be the from the UK release of TDT. If so, does this mean no Intention Craft? I'm sure they'll sneak that in at the end though. Says 'the original' so I guess the UK version?

BWAAAAAH! Just when things look bleakest, they always pull something epic like this! CANNAE FECKIN WAIT!!! I'm sure they can't mean they're planning to split up after the tour - what kind of band announces a break up 5 months before it happens?? I wonder if it will be the from the UK release of TDT. Very good question. I presume it'll be the *US* release, as this was the intended tracklist. I'm in two minds which one I want. On the one hand I REALLY want to see Exact Colour live, but on the other hand I've seen Twyncyn so many times and TIC is just such a tune! This has made me very very happy. Jolly good work all round!

Haha, priceless, that part definitely made my day! ;D You're quite right, and on second thought I guess it just means what it means, that they're just not *planning* another tour after this one.

The Exact Colour has never been done by the band electrically either has it? They didn't mention it, so I guess it's not that version.

This very fact just occurred to me, too... and I was actually hoping for TEC to be in the set. The US set would be 10 minutes longer, tho...

Told ya! (And yes, if I need to cut off all my limbs and drag myself to a gig using only my tongue, it will be more than worth it to see Magic get a live run-out at long, long last!)

What do we reckon then? Return of Clean Bandit as a support act for the live-string goodness? Or even - dare I mention it - the string section of A Genuine Freakshow guesting after a triumphant support slot...?
(This is all speculation by the way, no idea who the supports will be, probably not anywhere near confirmed yet.)

AGF will presumably have a good chance at least for one of the shows - prr said they canceled the previous dates in order to be able to play properly with AGF and Losers.
And I don't think the US version is any longer is it? Nimos is a short song and TIC is not much longer than Twyncyn. Unless they include Asleep under Eiderdown, or, dare I say it, some of the songs off the bonus disc....
