I've been to his Myspace, and for me his stuff is good without being great. The kind of thing I'd certainly leave on if I heard it on the radio (fat chance of that, with the state of radio today... ), but not the kind of music I'd get attached to and actively seek out and investigate. Fully appreciate the contribution he's made to PRR's history (he's the only band member bar Jon to ever get a writing credit for a PRR song, if I'm not mistaken?), but his solo stuff is pleasant rather than exciting, IMO.

He added me on myspace a while back...I seem to remember forming roughly the same opinion as scat.
