Erm by moving this to a new section of the forum, I wonder if the old sections will ever get used now... Well, we discussed it and we decided it would be good to have a dedicated board for this, so it's clear the forum is still relevant now the band have parted ways. We also thought it'd be nice to have discussion about all the new projects that (hopefully) will come from the 4 of them together. Realistically, the other sections probably won't be used that much anymore, that's just how it goes but people may still want to reminisce/talk about the albums, or old live shows etc at some point.

That was a hard gig to watch....very emotional! Had AVO playing in my head ever since! Hope the forum keeps going! Would be a good way to find out what the band are up to. Had to shoot off after the gigs, did I miss anything at the afterparty? I know a couple of people have mentioned it, so I just wanted to confirm that we have no intention of closing the forum, it'll still be here

You just beat me to it thedarkfourth! If anyone who wants to post about the gigs after they've been to one posts in the 'post-gig thread' I've just creaed, that'd be great.
That way, we can keep this thread clear for discussions about the gigs/who's going where etc.
Thanks, Admin

Hi guys,
If you could put any comments/setlists etc (or anything else that could be considered a 'spoiler') about the farewell tour in this thread, it'd be greatly appreciated, so those who want to discuss the gigs before they go can use the old 'Farewell Tour' thread without ruining the surprise.
Thanks, Admin

Sadly, both of these shows have now been cancelled/postponed. The message from the band is as follows: “We have decided to cancel the London XOYO show on May 4th and to reschedule the Reading Sub 89 from May 8th to July 22d possibly with a venue change – venue details very soon! These shows were originally planned around the release of our new single which is now postponed for a short while so it seemed best to concentrate on the special shows that we have planned for the autumn and to move the Reading show into July so it became part of the Outside:Inside Festival Programme. Full refunds are available for London and our sincere apologies to all of you & those who had already bought tickets or planned to come - but the wait till the autumn will be worth it. PRRx. Btw: Our Spring/Summer Sale which starts here from May 6th prr.tshirtmachine.com with big reductions on all Shirts/DVDs and CDs.”

Hi Andrew, Welcome to the board, hope you stick around to let us know how the gig goes! I've been reliably informed that there will be tickets on sale on the door at all of the German shows. So no need to worry. :-)

Hi Gilthar- I think Lawrie already mentioned this in the Scala DVD thread; the word from the band is that the posting on this has been a little held up. There should be an update from the band soon, to let you know when you can expect this to arrive.

Just noticed this on the source code of the website (which still isn't up ) I know minimal CSS/styling, but it appears there is going to be a forum... Not sure what to make of that. Either that or a link, given that it's next to a similar thing that says Twitter; let's not jump to conclusions just yet and just wait and see. Looking too closely at the page source of an unfinished site can be pretty misleading.

If the conversation can be had without personal attacks then it's not a big problem, we have plenty of off-topic discussions around here.
However, there is a problem when it turns into a direct argument between two (or more) forum members, rather than a productive/interesting discussion. And while a direct argument can, in some cases, be interesting it more often than not leads to personal attacks somewhere along the line.

Ok all, just a little reminder to avoid making it personal- as the forum rules state, personal attacks and the use of strong language towards another member will not be tolerated. This also goes for similar attacks towards band members.
I understand this is a sensitive subject but just want to make sure we keep it on-topic please.

OK, so I've asked once nicely that this be left to rest and it hasn't happened. I don't see much productive discussion arising from this thread anymore.
I have absolutely no desire to be forced to issue warnings/bans. Therefore, consider it locked.

Does anyone else have any questions (that would be appropriate for an interview) to put forward? Briggsy, you are more than welcome to raise/discuss your points in another thread, perhaps the H&A verdict thread? I think you'd get more of an active/engaged discussion about it there. Admin - (I'm guessing at Lawrie, maybe I'm wrong?) - I may take this discussion to another thread, maybe I won't. My initial post was raised in all sincerity and in response to another poster - not Ryan - who had raised a question in his thread. I don't expect, when I made a sincere response to another poster's question, to be lambasted or flamed by another forum member, whoever he thinks he is. Nor do I expect an Admin to side with such an improper response. You either want forum members to have input to the forum or not. " I'd just like to higlight that Lawrie posts only as Lawrie, rather than admin and is a moderator, not an admin. I would like to reassure you I was not taking sides; I was suggesting what I percieved to be a constructive resolution. Apologies this was not done sooner and apologies if you feel you have been mistreated by the admin team. I'd like to hope we can now leave this issue to rest, put it behind us and move on.
