Thanks for posting the setlist, gutted to have missed it, sadly I'm abroad at the moment. Great to see a lot of the classics still make the cut, although it seems strange they only played one song off the new record.
I really love Above Cirrus and have been listening on repeat! The drop on Cruel Deliverance has been officially added to my list of all time favourite PRR moments.

The band has announced its 5th studio album, Above Cirrus, coming May 6 2022. Another great opportunity to return to this wonderful old-school forum! First single New Kind of Evil is great, here's the vid: www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKJ7LOwhYdwThe band is touring soon, including a London date in April (very sad to say I'm out of the country) - unclear if they'll play songs from the new record or from Eupnea or the classics.

Sounds about right, kudos on the encyclopedic knowledge. Gaudete has one t though. The only other thing I can think of is the non-acoustic version of Intention Craft without the Arrival section, from the single. There might be other similarly obscure tracks I'm blanking on.
Between the 2-disc TDT and "In the Realms of the Divine", I think almost all PRR tracks are covered pre-AVO/H&A. A truly incredible catalogue of music.

New record on shelves! I'm sure the legions of fans are flocking to proboards to register their opinions, so sound off!
For those that didn't see it, Jon posted on FB about the inspiration for the album, namely the birth of his daughter in 2017 and the time she spent in intensive care owing to her poor lungs. Apparently she is all well now, thank goodness. Eupnea is the medical term for regular breathing. Pretty mind-blowing subject for an album as badass as this.
I won't go into details about my opinions but I'll just say it's so freaking cool to have a brand new PRR album to devour!

What does anyone know about the new line-up? Only Chloe and Jon appear to be involved, no Jamie or Paul? Don't know about the official lineup, I think there's a chance Paul and/or Jamie may eventually show up, but I also know that Jon has been working with Greg Jong from the super early days (even before my time) - one of the contributors to the original TDT sound.

Holy crap, I remembered my login details (on the 5th try!) Well well well...didn't expect to find myself back here but glad to see the forum is still live! Fingers crossed for a PRR show, I know they have a couple of festivals announced but hoping for a standalone gig (I'm living in Ireland now so will be a flight over for sure!) Can't believe we returned within a few hours - and also this thread is already alive and active. Guys! We're back on the forum! It's 2008! There's new PRR tracks and they're all proggy! We're rocking out! Maybe we don't ever have to grow up?!?!

Yeah, I was saying I think it's much more hammer and anvil than anything else. And this Sammi person sounds ridiculously like Chloe. In any event - new Courtney tracks on the horizon is the best musical news I've heard in a long time.

It's hard to gather information when there's so little information to gather!
But surely you're guilty of a far more heinous crime: changing your avatar picture!!! HOW DO YOU PLEAD?! How are we supposed to keep the spirit of the late 00s alive when everything we held dear is crumbling around us? Archer comes along and suddenly you've forgotten all your promises of eternal love to peep show!?

NEWS: All tracks for the Tiny Giant album are recorded and there is an official release schedule, Chloe expects it to be on sale by the end of the year. Paul said that the reason it had gone so slowly is that her writing partner is doing really well in his separate career, so he's be unavailable, and it's ended up with him not even in the live band. Chloe also said that her manager wants them to do "20" more gigs before they can come back to play in London again...a shame but hopefully that means they'll be amazing by the time it happens. The takeaway is that wheels are very much in motion and there is a lot of really cool stuff to look forward to! Maybe even - gasp - some more posts on this forum!

Erm, did you post this video? Does anyone know who did? I think it should be taken down asap - it's a bit harsh to put up the free song just as it's going on sale on iTunes!

This is a really magnificent song imo. Comparatively complex in the composition but still sounds thrilling and beautiful.

Some guys from Croydon did a remix of Armistice. Any thoughts? I like it. Sure it'll be huge on the club circuit this November. Press: Hi, You are receiving this email because you have supported Pure Reason Revolution in the past. It's almost a year since the band broke up but I'm still trying to raise money for War Child and The Royal British Legion. I'd also like to offer you £5 off your next merchandise order as a thank you for your support in the past. In April 2012 we raised £1,000 for the aforementioned charities. We have since raised another £300. November 11th is Remembrance Day so I would like to invite you to help me top up that amount by donating in one of the following ways: - By ordering the ‘Valour EP’ CD here: www.purereasonrevolutionmerch.com/- Or by downloading the EP here: www.musicglue.com/purereasonrevolution/ which will come with an ‘LA Boxers’ remix of Armistice which has never been available before. Use the code “REMEMBRANCE” with orders of £15 or more. This will entitle you to a £5 discount. All the CD albums and DVDs are now just £5 and there are very few t-shirts left; Stocks are low so if you intend to buy then do so quickly. All merchandise offers are available here: www.purereasonrevolutionmerch.com/Happy Christmas! Jonathan Cooke Pure Reason Revolution's manager

Yeah, I think it's just those two we're waiting on. Paul sounds like he's been having fun with Scroobius Pip, and Jamie's making a name in the Reading DJ world, but I don't think they've got plans to write original music atm. Although Jamie's toodar remix is rather excellent imo soundcloud.com/toodar-cassette-tapes/02-so-solid-gold-deathstar

Yeah Frankie's on drums, had a little chat after the gig! A worthy successor to Paul's legacy!
