Mmmm...it wouldn't be the first time I've asked so I wouldn't hold your breath! They told me before it could be the 'official' forum as such, sent out one bulletin on myspace and that was the end of that...

Yeah I guess you're right...nothing's turned up. Jamie probably asked Jonathan and found out it was against some contract or something legal like that....

Dunno if they are on a label, but if they are things like this are tricky because what's said is out of the bands control so they can't be seen to be endorsing whatever it happens to be. This is why the Porcupine Tree one remains independent I believe.

Ah, we got a friendly little mention in a bulletin Paul had a point, I mean, you can see why, with all the speculation we do, they wouldn't want to consider it 'official.' But thats not a bad thing, often the problem with the old one was it was a bit limited what could be said... Just need to keep spreading the word, make sure people know about iy really.

Just joined today! How come I didn't know about this forum before? I was a member of the old forum a couple of years ago. Hurrah, an outlet for PRR news that isn't MySpace.

Hurrah, an outlet for PRR news that isn't MySpace. I wish! Sadly we don't get as much concrete news here as you'd think. Most of the time we discuss rumours and wait for bulletins...Still it's quite a jolly little old forum really. And all PRR is good, of course.

Listening to this band made me realize I want to live the rest of my life in a dark gothic library filled with ancient tombs and spell books and...
Seriously, they've changed the way I see modern rock music, that's for sure.
So I'm new here, feeling awkward, so here's some o' me poetry:
Brutish Pome
"On our wings was sunlit refraction, calling Infraction lit us, until we saw our angles From the clouds, thunderous forms Reaction hit us, porous Angels
We began our descent, oh Creator! Faced with silent orders To teach your Creation a song That condensed from the starless sonic heavens To amend his Creations Over the Earth, we raised down A brutish pome! A culling song!
Some words are meant to shake one Loose, that is what we taught him Some times words are not necessary to Speak, which is what we teach them now And then, some words are your only hope Will thee catch the pome? After all what will they learn?
We turned to you and spoke, oh Human! We were pleased to teach you Hope you would work to know We are so sad to see you go Were you meant to rehearse this blow Then sing with us, reverse it! Not a culling song to us… poor angels.
On our wings was sunlit redaction, falling."

I don't know what I admire more, your poetical skill or you nerve to show it to us! Many kudos for that. I know I'd never put my poems on the net. You should ask the band to use it as the lyrics to one of their songs.
