I'd be REALLY suprised if it was before next year, and a couple of months into next year I'd have thought. That chances of Superball doing a last minute release are slim to none.

yeah I'm assuming Spring..but it would be nice to get some kind of concrete info about a title or a window of time. I know a lot of people who are wanting to know when it'll be out on some other boards. It would be great to tell them something specific at some point..say at least by the end of the year.

I agree! I just can't make up my mind about going to Spain since I'm not that rich. I'd really like to know if they are going to release the album and tour this autumn/winter. In that case I'd rather wait until then. For us that don't live in the UK being a fan can get real expensive - no chance that I can afford two trips before spring..... And with this I say that I don't believe they are going to play in Sweden when they are 'the main attraction' . That is why I think it's great that they are touring with Porcupine Tree - it has taken them to places they very likely wouldn't have toured otherwise.

Hi all!
One always has to be armed with a certain amount of patience when it comes to PRR and new releases, I guess... On the other hand, it's generally well worth waiting for!
Spain is a nice place to go, but also very far away. Well, ripley, what's wrong with PRR and PT playing in Luxembourg then? Closer to Sweden than Spain it is, too far away - nevertheless - it still is, alas...
And Luxembourg itself is a pretty slow and dull country/state/province (I think it's a "Duchy" or something like that) to visit, I must confess (having been there only once in my lifetime was rather more than enough)...
Perhaps a Swedish rock festival of sorts could lure PRR to our neighbourhood for a very much wanted gig in the future...
Cheers!

The new PRR gigs = bootlegs of Apogee and Les Malheurs (It's the only consolation for the fact that PT won't play in french canada again this tour...)

Aye, thought there might be. They've not shown up in the usual spot though. I'd guess because we were mp3'ing them right away, tapers don't like that! if anyone finds it let me know

I'm also really interested in hearing those bootlegs

Hardly needs saying, but me three on that.
Don't suppose that message hinted where the bootlegs might be found, did it NM?

There's nothing on the usual trackers, I'd guess they've gone trade only. That's the normal response when stuff get's publicly mp3'd.

The problems they seem to have are two-fold, firstly that they aren't getting credited for their work, and second that people are distributing their work in a format that is inferior and doesn't represent their work in the best possible light.
The problem I have is, it's fucking illegal anyway. Bootlegers own diddly squat of what they record, venues own more rights than they do.

My audio player doesn't play FLAC files... Snobs Seriously, I'd be really happy to get the FLAC files and play them with Winamp or whatever, just want to hear the entire Apogee and Les Malheurs...

What do you use? Unless it's itunes I expect you can make it play them.

It's iTunes... I can afford popping up Winamp if it's to hear Apogee and Les Malheurs tho
