PRR have always used backing tracks, there's only so much in all the layers they can reproduce, it was when they pretended they weren't at the MV support that was silly. Didn't really get that. Did they support The Mars Volta? And what were they pretending? No, My Vitriol. and Chloe was miming to bass parts she clearly wasn't playing, I'd guess the bits James used to do.

Certainly wasn't one of their high points to be fair, and bringing on a random violinist didn't help- I'd much rather they were honest about their backing tracks like they are now, otherwise it'll only get noticed and because it looks hidden, get criticised- Deus being played last night being the perfect example of why it's much better to be upfront about where the music on stage is coming from.

I didn't mind the fact they had him there, it was how daft he looked just standing around for 8 minutes of the song!
Aye, I think it's better now. I get the impression there's at least a little more triggering of parts going on now than there has been before as well.
