Ha, I think thats the point...I don't think the guy from TCTC working in HMV was entirely the issue (or for some people amusement) it was more working in HMV because his band fell apart and he no longer had a recording contract. Having said that, I actually quite liked the Coopers (not that I met them, can't comment on the singer being an idiot) but think they lost the plot with the last album really.

Tom Bellamy wasn't very nice about PRR either.

the problem appears to be these two flapping their e-penises about in a "i'm better/funnier/smarter than you kind of way". bless them, they'll get bored too.

Hehe! Well I'm pretty sure someone's recently deleted at least one comment in this thread cos it now appears as a bunch of meaningless unconnected rantings....
All I have to say is the Coopers were great. Even if they did peak early. And having spoken to them once, they seemed perfectly nice people too. And I'm surprised about what you said about Tom Bellamy, because I thought he was currently doing DJ sets with Jon...And I don't care if I was starving to death, I would never work for the Dirty Pretty Things, ever.

I can verify it to be 100%truth as he said it to me personally. sorry, I'll put my e-penis back into my e-jeans now Ryan! hehe

But [not knowing anything about the Cooper Temple Clause, or the bassist who left them] yeah, I agree that this chap is perfectly within his rights to leave a band he's not enjoying playing with to one that he does, particularly if it helps to provide him with greater financial security. And for the record, I don't like Dirty Pretty Things either, but if this Didz (spelling?) bloke is improving his life personally and professionally by playing with them then there's nowt wrong with that... even if his new band are somewhat indie-schmindie plodders IMO...

I think it's the e-numbers we should be worried about... ...anyone got any ideas for a conversation involving PRR?

Well we're all old and boring at heart, aren't we? Anyways, truth be told, I was a little annoyed that the Victorious Cupid poll was ended. While I understand that there's no use crying over spilt milk, as it were, I don't see why we can't discuss this in a civil manner like we always do Any opinons on whether this should be discussed or not before I get started?

Oh yeah, I was asked a question in that thread. Was it about if I actually wanted it on the album or something? that's what I'll answer, in the most boring way possible. Depends if it fits. If the band have a place for it then yeah, a nice little rocker might be good in there somewhere, if it'll be out of place then no I'll live without it. As for buying it twice, well you have to expect the lead track off a single will be on the eventual album.
