Me and my bandmate have just finished our first EP - inspired by Copenhagen, My Bloody Valentine, white nosie, Mew, lost friends, tantalising vocals, neon and adventuring far from home late at night, remembering a faded, scratched old vinyl in your head. Dunno if anyone might be interested - you can download it here - www.divshare.com/download/6692627-8fb

I've played guitar for about six and a half years. I started off really into Led Zeppelin and stuff like that, then got into the virtuoso stuff like Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, and John Petrucci. That kind of moved more into prog, and then I got tendonitis in my left wrist because I played such extreme stuff so often (that is, I practiced for at least two hours a day, lots of speed exercises, etc.). I had to stop playing for the better part of a year, but now I play again, albeit with no serious practice sessions/attempted shredding like before. Now I've gotten a lot more into acoustic guitar (and I listen to that kind of music more), but I still keep it a little progressive. My primary influences would be PRR, Radiohead, Muse, Porcupine Tree, Dream Theater, Rush, Opeth, (changing gears. . .) Dave Matthews Band, Coldplay, Iron and Wine, John Mayer, Arcade Fire, U2. . . The list goes on. My electric guitar is a Music Man John Petrucci signature model in Lava Pearl. My acoustic is a Breedlove (it's pretty nice, but I don't remember the exact product name). EDIT: Also, I can play the Deus Ex Machina riff. I might record a video of it.

That is a rather sexy looking guitar, how much did it cost you? hmm, somewhere around £450, although it was a generous xmas present from a few of my relatives, so no money out of my pocket

Every month I'm about to spend completely broke will be well worth it.
