On a more important note, this is tomorrow and I am actually going therefore will be able to provide a bit more insight than the little scraps I'm getting from the porcupine tree forums sofar, which is just the usual 'their sound mix wasn't amazing.' Haha, oh so very, very excited!! ;D (And no...I will not be recording a bootleg... )

I believe I've heard before of people getting setlists from PRR's shows, like when we got the names Apogee of My Love and Les Malheurs. I don't know how people have gotten these before, but maybe some new tracks will show up?

They're usually nabbed off the front of the stage I think, it's normally difficult to get hold of one at the end of a set. But I'll be really surprised if we hear anything else new that we don't already know of...I'll be really happy if I hear those two again...actually, just seeing PRR play is exiting enough!

OK, I'm still a little shattered from a hectic weekend but here's a bit of a report... First things first, setlist was: Les Malheurs Apogee Deus Ex Machina Ambassadors Victorious Cupid Trembling Willows Gloaming
They were, of course, great, that kind of goes without saying but probably the most outstanding point was that Chloe was on the best form I've seen in ages, really shone through on the middle of the stage which came across really well, she was so full of energy. Sound mix was also good, the bass was LOUD and it all sounded well balanced. Took the PT fans a bit of time to respond, I think partially because the set kicked off with the new, more electro type tracks, some of which (mainly Apogee) I still think need a bit of work to get them up to PRR's usual high live standard but that will come with time. But both that and Malheurs sounded like they are going to be wonderfully brilliant when we get album no 2, the melodies are so, so good on both tracks. Gloaming sounded absolutely AWESOME, it made me grin like a fool- its developed so much over the last couple of months so hopefully with time so will the others given that it was one of the first new ones we heard.
The set felt a little short to me, but I think thats only because I've got used to them headlining recently rather than supporting. They are a little shoved to the front of the stage because of all of PT's gear, which is a shame, but something that can't be helped particularly in the Sala Apolo which has a very small stage. I took a very small number of pictures which I'll stick up in a bit.

set looks v short 2 me n all the stuff i havent heard yet live! The set will have been that length because they were Porcupine Tree's support act: I'm sure a headline slot would see that increased by enough to feel like a full-fat show!

Yeah I mean, you have to bear in mind Ambassadors, Willows and Gloaming are all getting on for 10 minutes each, so its not really that short at all. No news of UK gigs I'm afraid, dont see it happening still until the actual release of the album.
