I also can't wait to read the lyrics for Les Malheurs - some crazy stuff in there! To you this is dirty Has sick undertones But I know you're dirty -bluhbluhbluh- and something about pretzel heaven made by devil's hands?

To you this is dirty Has sick undertones But I know you're dirty you're no tame animal I'll be the echo that won't let go I'll be there grinding your bones yeah I know you're dirty all fingers and tongues
That's what it sounds like to me - can be very wrong though!

The chorus sounds like:
Sing, my love muse *something* heaven Kissed by goblins' ghosts and licked by devils' hands

See I've always heard it as 'kissed by God, burns ghosts and licked by devil's hands.' Which kind of sounds awesome. But like everyone else I could be totally wrong.

Actually, that does sound more accurate. Good call!

The chorus sounds like: Sing, my love muse *something* heaven Kissed by goblins' ghosts and licked by devils' hands That pretty much right, I think the *something* bit is "Deep breaths of heaven"

Deep breaths of heaven sounds right. Jon can be tricky to understand sometimes.

Three weeks ago I wrote an e-mail to the Rockpalast team asking if they will release the PRR gig on DVD. So I got two news for you. One is good, one is bad. First the bad news: There are no plans to release it on DVD. The good news: That guy wrote me that it's possible that the concert will be available on their web site to watch it. After waiting a couple of days I found out it's online now. www.rockpalast.de/video.phtml?id=pure_reason_revolution

Thanks...it's a cool video. I love the filming and lights n stuff...my only complaint is that Chloe's voice is too high in the mix. Normally at gigs I think Chloe's voice is not loud enough, but I think on the recording it comes across too strongly....

I don't think her voice is that great at this gig. To be fair, this must have been one of the first Malheurs performances... She just doesn't sound great at this one - usually she does and I think at Nearfest her parts are sung better than Jon's.

Found this gig on the Rockpalast official website, and I think it's awesomesauce personified. Chloe's mic is too much on a few tracks, like Intention Craft and Twyncyn, otherwise I think it's brrrrrilliant. I hated the snare on the NEARFest album, so to hear Intention Craft without that flat snare is amazing. Also, I love how much Jamie gets into Trembling Willows. I know that it's his favourite song, but still....
EDIT: The link was posted a few posts above ^^^. If anyone can rip, it would be appreciated. If Les Malheurs and Gloaming have to be excluded due to copyright, that's fine by me, I have the CD+DVD version of AVO, so I have them anyway.

Should people be interested, I turned my recording of the PRR concert (and Rose Kemp who was awesome as well!) in Bonn into a DVD. Both concerts are 45 mins in 720x576 PAL with great audio quality. I could upload it or make a torrent. Any takers?
Cheers, Roy
