Sometimes I wished I didnt care so much about them...but I do....perhaps the extent to which you care is in proportion to the level of anxiety....and therefore propensity to post.....on the other hand I could be talking crap.....wouldnt be the first time...

Nice one. I like the number of elipses in that post. I don't know what you're smoking, but I agree with it. Frustration's mounting in the realms of the divine...I expect we'll get what we're waiting for just when we reach absolute boiling point.

I'm in the 'they don't owe us anything' camp to be honest. We don't ever own any part of the band, no ones parted with money and got nothing back (I assume... someones bound to prove me wrong). If you are fed up with waiting... dunno. Not a lot you can do really is there. I'd love new stuff too, but no point rushing it is there. If they put a new song up it'll just be "well something's ready get that out".
As for legal issues, I agree with BA. It could be out of their hands as to if they can talk about it or not, and they certainly shouldn't feel obliged. There's been pleanty of speculation, I'm sure it's not a massive leap to work out what kind of thing it is.

Look, this is getting tiresome and pathetically Pythonesque. I recanted my question on Novemebr 27th. Why the heck is the debate still going on? Why didn't Sticky read the posts and keep her hands off the keyboard? It doesn't bear discussion, the thread is CLOSED, I'm sorry I started it - just as I explained on November 27th. It is old news of little import. Nobody, least of all me, gives a shit about the supposed legal problems or the lack of news. Nobody owes anybody anything. The band doesn't owe the fans an album and the fans don't have to buy it when and if it does appear. Public relations, image and media hype do not exist as far as PRR is concerned. ALRIGHT? ALL AGREED? CAN WE STOP NOW?

Hur hur I love how monty python keeps coming up round here. This all does remind me of that sketch in the Holy Grail where the Lord guy with a northern accent is trying to give instructions to his guards to not let his son leave the room. ("and no bloody SINGIN'!") Classic.
Anyhoo, now we've established that we can't talk about The Topic That Must Not Be Mentioned, anyone got any conversational ideas? Any jokes?

why did the baker have brown hands?
.....because he kneaded a poo.....!!!!
best joke ever, sure to lighten the mood when people are WRITING IN CAPITAL LETTERS... smudger is correct and a decent fellow... this whole thing is bloody pointless.... why the hell should i give a flying f*** about a band's legal problems or lack of comunication with the fans, or ill luck, or haircuts, or management, agents and other assorted music industry tossups, when said band has not released anything of any note or worth for a good 18 months? lets not talk about it... here's another joke....
why did the human cannonball lose his job?
....no, i know what you're thinking, but the real answer is that he was persistantly tardy and broke several health and safety adviseries... good day...night.

1: Does your Dog bite? 2: No, of course not. 1: Do mind if I stroke him 2: Go ahead 1: OW! ...you said your dog doesn't bite! 2: He doesn't, that's not my dog.
classic.

Simon Cowell dies and goes to heaven (of course)
Gabriel is showing him to the 'X-Factor' room, and they pass 3 other rooms, one labelled "Rolling Stones", one labelled "Coldplay" and one labelled "Pure Reason Revolution"
Above the 'Stones and Coldplay rooms there is a clock, both showing different times. Above the PRR room there is no clock.
Simon asks Gabriel why the two clocks show different times. Gabriel explains that the clocks were started when the bands started performing, and ticked on just one second every time the bands' managers made a crap decision.
"Why's there no clock at all above the PRR room?" asks Simon?
"Oh, that's on God's desk" replies Gabriel..................
...He uses it as a fan!

Ha, I rather liked it...(from an altogether light-hearted point of view, not aiming to start up any more serious discussion of whether or not we actually agree that the management is bad!)
