Nah I reckon it'll have Malheurs, Deus, Cupid, Ambassadors and Intention Craft (not necessarily in that order but something close to it), which should come to about 30/35mins, then maybe Willows if they have time. I don't think they're going to be trying anything new - just the most fundamental stuff really for a support slot.

I think TDF has got it pretty much nailed. At least thats what I think they'd stick in too. I don't see why they flog Intention Craft so much though.

The reason the band continue to play ambassadors and intention craft is due to both being released as singles. people have heard these tunes before, and are likely to expect to hear them I guess.

Yeah, dont get me wrong, I also do understand why they choose to leave it in. I guess the reason I personally would suggest maybe Ambassadors isn't the best choice at the moment is that there is a brand new album out of material which, I think, shows a very different direction. It's not that the stuff off the first album then becomes invalid, by any stretch of the imagination but its the length Ambassadors that makes me question its place in a support set now. That's, I suppose, why I don't question Intention Craft's place quite as I do Ambassadors. It's about getting across who the band are NOW in a short space of time.
I think I'd rather have Apogee in...but that may well be more of a personal preference than what would actually be best...don't get me wrong, I'm not sitting here claiming to know 'best,' it's more just a selection of reflective ramblings on my part to be honest!

Excellent gig last night, and I enjoyed all 3 bands.
PRR got 45 minutes.

Good stuff, I bet they've played headline sets that are only a tad longer than that in the past! Glad you had a good gig, gutted that Cambridge isn't happening tonight.

I'm deliberately going to hold back on details and setlists so as not to spoil any excitement, but suffice to say spending so much time on the road recently has made them tighter than the tightest tight thing I can think of.
I think the Sheffield gig is at the Leadmill - I have good memories of seeing bands there when I was at Sheffield for Uni, so I hope they have not changed the place too much in the intervening 20 years lol

Yes but the gig the majority of us were going to go to was cancelled. I think it's only BA gunning for up north so... setlist?

I assumed you probably wouldn't be reading the board this afternoon or at least ignoring it if you didn't want to know the set list. It's not like it was personal.

Don't worry, I'm not saying anything until after the Sheffield gig

Well I don't leave for Sheffield til tomorrow afternoon so will inevitably be reading the boards but bear in mind my comment was intended to be slightly tongue in cheek! Like I said myself, if I was THAT desperate to avoid it I could not read this thread. But 'I can resist everything except temptation' and all of that...

I actually had a memory lapse and thought for some reason the Sheffield gig was last night... of course you'd be viewing the thread, that's weird. Ignore my posts in this thread from now on I think my brain has stopped working.
