That's not fair. I want a bit of Riverside and PRR action.

I quite fancy a PRR gig at the moment, but that's my fault for being so tardy with all the most recent ones.

Um...
just wondering why they are still playing with bands like Riverside.... it seems a little odd, don't you think?
Still, two Europe dates for April, things are looking up!

Presumably you mean due to differing music styless rather than fanbase size...?

PRR certainly have a bigger pull in the UK, dunno about on the continent though.

Well there's that too but actually I'm sure Riverside have a large fanbase, it's just it's the same kind of fanbase as listen to Marillion and ...well...Riverside. It's prog metal. There ain't nothing wrong with prog metal, but aren't PRR miles and miles away from that now?

Jamie mentioned 'death guitars' a short while back, when he was in the studio for the third album, so maybe they jump from prog to eighties electronics to metal. I wouldn't be surprised.
In general prr are a pretty unknown band in Holland (riverside are more known and popular), but they get very good critics over here, and when people see them play live, most of them become fans instantly:)

Totally with you on that one...same old story, they're still being promoted as exactly the same band they were when they released TDT. Madness. Anyhow, regardless, still nice to see the first dates in the calendar, even if the chances of me making any of them are slim.

There must be SOMEONE out there on the continent to report back for us?! It's killing me...there have probably been new PRR songs played and I have no idea what they are like!!

There were some videos uploaded to YouTube from 013, but no new songs. Jon mentioned in one of them that they're about half done and it should be out in September.

Oh, good shout, just found all the videos www.youtube.com/user/FredNijmegen#p/u/1/1203f165JvIThe whole set is there as far as I can see and it's amazingly TDT heavy, I'm guessing maybe because of the Riverside crowd? I'm hoping anyway, I'll be disappointed if we don't get more AVO stuff at Hoxton. No Gloaming! No Apogee! No Malheurs! I know we can't have them all but I'd have expected at least one of those in there. Set list seems to have been 1) In Aurelia 2) Borgens 3 Deus Ex Machina 4) Victorious Cupid 5) Trembling Willows 6) Bright Ambassadors 7) The Intention Craft
