YESYESYES! In my diary - I'm seeing RATM and Goldfrapp in the run-up so should be a good week. Though I really need to start doing my revision so I won't have to then. Ulp.

Although on the music events page quote: "£10 adv - £8 door" Bizarre. Presumably a typo...

Love it. Got an accountancy exam on June 6th, so this will be a very welcome treat at the end of the same week. See you there, fellow giggers...

Ooooooh, OUCH! I was literally - in the proper sense of the word, not the way that people often use it in error when they really mean metaphorically - working for 57 straight hours in the run-up to a 12pm Friday hand-in deadline in order to get mine finished. Started my final stretch at 5pm on Tuesday, finished at 2am on the Friday morning - went home, slept for 6 hours, handed in at 9am, then sat having a beer outside the Kings Arms contentedly watching other chemists I knew pegging it down Parks Road towards the High St in a panic at 11.55am. Boot-iful, as Bernard Matthews would say. Good luck mate, have to say I remember that as one of the least pleasant times in my life... but brilliant when you finish, and if you can get it done in time for the PRR gig then that will presumably be the perfect storm of feeling awesome: hope you make it!

I hope my exams are over then, I'll have to check. It's going to be so weird hearing new tracks after a whole gig-less year...

God damn, I've just bought a ticket for the Godspeed ATP so can't afford this. I think some in PRR is conspiring against me.

Why must it be an 18+ gig? Why must it be in London? Why must it be in the middle of exam time?

Supports for this date are Nedry and Islington Boys Club.
Listening to Nedry now and they sound good, electronic with female vocals, would imagine they have quite a big sound live, or at least I hope! Islington Boys Club sound a bit more typical rocky...don't really have too much of an opinion on them but could be convinced, if they're good live.

Yeah Nedry were supporting 65dos when I saw them last week - unfortunately I turned up after Nedry had finished but I bought their album to make up for it and I have to say I'm really enjoying it - kinda Portisheady in a good way.

Were you at the Koko on Weds, TDF, or some other 65 gig? I went to the Koko and really enjoyed Nedry's set. (As an aside, the main support act, Loops Haunt, was frickin' terrible - probably okaaaay on CD, but a complete waste of a slot as a live act.)
But yeah, back to the PRR gig, Nedry will be very worthy supports indeed, good group.
