Their album earlier this year is fantastic! I hope they can find some MCs to do Flush live, that would be so epic!
EDIT - maybe Jon and Chloe could be the MCs? that would be the most hilarious/awesome thing ever.

Right, obviously Losers is awesome but who's been listening to The Last Republic? Have given them a spin or two and, sure, while it may be very Editors/Coldplay for this forum it's very proficient and catchy. Looking forward to them. Perhaps a less cool, but catchier, Domino State? The sound isn't altogether different.

Loving Jamie's tweet: Next week I have to learn 2 'new' songs and practice with PRR, then go to Munich and play a show on Sun. Just a normal week then...
especially the 'new' in sarcastic quote marks. Are we thinking Bullitts and Goshen's? Maybe Bullitts and Golden Clothes? The possibilities are endless! I guess if the songs they're learning aren't genuinely new then that scuppers my hopes of hearing open insurrection...well I guess you can't have everything!

I think they won't play Armistice because they've already got a closer in AVO which everyone seems happy with. I don't think they'll do Gaudete (despite one or two polite requests on twitter, including from myself), mainly because it's a bit weird and non-PRRish and it's all a cappella which they might find a tad tricky (not because they can't sing [DUH!!] but because there's no other ACap live tracks). I also think they won't play Open Insurrection, just because they've already learned five songs off of H&A - though I'd say it was the most likely of the three.
I may well be wrong on all counts! What the hell do I know? [and for the record I do really WANT them to play OI and Gaudete, I just think it's unlikely]
In fact, shall we start guessing at set lists? Could be fun...
My guess is the most likely songs will be
Les Malheurs
Black Mourning
Patriarch
Apogee
Deus
LMLR
Fight Fire
Bullitts
Goshens
Valour
Twyncyn
Bright Ambassadors
AVO
Roughly in that order. Also, that's too many songs for a PRR set I expect - these are just the most likely in my opinion.

I can't remember where I actually found it, but it's very low quality and there's also a weird artifact in it. Dunno if anyone else around has a better copy? |
