Yea manchester gig was great but weird at the same time. The venue was TINY and a very small audience, i think we made up a fouth of the crowd, there was 8 of us there.
The sound was very clear, better than the last time they played manchester in moho live.
Bullitts was fantastic, but i thought they would play 1 more at the end but they were probably too cold, i've never been a concert and not sweated.

Yeah, it was eerily empty. I counted at one point and there were about 30 people in the crowd. Insane.

I'd have still wanted to go, even with such a small crowd.

To be fair, it was really snowy...would never stop me but I know a lot of people prefer not to drive when it's icy, particularly at night.
I've got pretty good hopes for Scala, can't wait to hear Bullits and Blitzkrieg live, in particular.

As someone said the snow played a big factor in people not coming. Last time they played manchester it was a bigger venue and nearly sold out, so if the ice and snow isn't too bad in a few days or so there should be nearly a sell out. I could be wrong but I believe you may get a diverse crowd which was used during the civil war era!

It's big - total capacity probably close to 1000 I imagine, about 500-600 of which can fit in the standing area in front of the stage. I think it'll be fairly full but not sold out. It's been A LOT better advertised than the manchester gig. They've been pushing it for months, and it's essentially taken the place of a proper H&A tour, so people will come from loads of different places. Fans are pulling out stops to see it - some have even risked missing a wedding for it Publicity for Manchester, by contrast, consisted of a couple of tweets the day before.

Actually thinking about it now, I think that estimate was too high - maybe you could get 300-400 in front of the stage? Anyone else want to take a guess?

"The building incorporates four main floors and accommodates events for as many as 1,145 people"
About 900 for this I reckon?

Huh, but surely that includes weird extra rooms and bar areas - the floor part in front of the stage must be a lot less. 900 total turnout would be fantastic!
