Would Voices in Winter be a better name for this forum? Maybe we should rename it the Open Insurrection forum.

Could you ask Jon if he is at all embarrassed by having padded out both AVO and H&A with such obvious 'filler' tracks? Hey look everyone, look! This guy doesn't like bits of some things! Look at him! Check him out! He wants to share his opinion with us in an unconstructive way! Let's give him his own thread! Last time I looked at the title of this thread it was "Any questions for Jon?", not "Any questions for Jon that Ryan might like". You seem to have taken a dislike to my suggestion which, although maybe badly worded, is still a serious one, and you seem, in your subsequent replies, to have taken on the mantle of spokesperson for Jon. Your suggestion to move the debate you opened following my suggestion, to another thread is a good one. It got obvious support from one admin, but no-one else.

Does anyone else have any questions (that would be appropriate for an interview) to put forward?
Briggsy, you are more than welcome to raise/discuss your points in another thread, perhaps the H&A verdict thread? I think you'd get more of an active/engaged discussion about it there.

Admin - (I'm guessing at Lawrie, maybe I'm wrong?) - I may take this discussion to another thread, maybe I won't. My initial post was raised in all sincerity and in response to another poster - not Ryan - who had raised a question in his thread. I don't expect, when I made a sincere response to another poster's question, to be lambasted or flamed by another forum member, whoever he thinks he is. Nor do I expect an Admin to side with such an improper response. You either want forum members to have input to the forum or not. So, anyway, I'll re-phrase my question to Jon. "Does it worry you that some fans may see some of the tracks on AVO and A&H as low-quality filler tracks which detract from otherwise superb albums?"

. "Does it worry you that some fans may see some of the tracks on AVO and A&H as low-quality filler tracks which detract from otherwise superb albums?" Actually I belive that it's totally improper question to ask. This can be a new thread to discuss our opinions (if anyone here shares such with you). I really doubt if you find some of us (forum members) who would be pleased when mrguy ask it. You are free to have your opinions but I think it's to rude to ask Jon such unprofessional question! To defend ryan I think he was just kidding and you got it to serious. Keep distance man and all will be fine here

" I'd just like to higlight that Lawrie posts only as Lawrie, rather than admin and is a moderator, not an admin. I would like to reassure you I was not taking sides; I was suggesting what I percieved to be a constructive resolution. Apologies this was not done sooner and apologies if you feel you have been mistreated by the admin team. I'd like to hope we can now leave this issue to rest, put it behind us and move on.

OK, so I've asked once nicely that this be left to rest and it hasn't happened. I don't see much productive discussion arising from this thread anymore.
I have absolutely no desire to be forced to issue warnings/bans. Therefore, consider it locked.
