Just thought that we should have a general thread for the upcoming tour. Jamie tweeted this to me earlier:
"I think we're doing UK dates in the new year...I think there is a Manchester show in Dec and maybe one more but not 100% sure yet."
I know that some people on the forum probably knew about this ages ago, but for those of us not in the PRR inner circle, I thought that we'd all like to know.

Sounds good...I kinda assumed the bulk of the tour is now going into 2011, but apart from the German shows and Scala, I haven't heard of anything else yet. Fingers crossed it won't be too long before it's all confirmed.

They want to make the Scala show really special so I don't think they'll be playing anywhere near London before 2011. Wouldn't be surprised if there was a Manchester-Leeds-Glasgow mini-tour though just before or after Scala.

Everyone had probably already seen it, but I just felt that the addition of Birmingham and Manchester dates needed to be pointed out in this thread...

I think thedarkfourth already did that but either way...must be annoying you can't get to any of the shows- how come you're not allowed to go to Manchester, is it too far from wherever's home? Still, I'm pretty sure there will be more UK (and Europe) dates in the new year.

It's about 90 minutes by train, but my parents won't let me go for a stupid reason that I won't go into. Can't wait for the 2011 tour, though.

I'm also in the 2011 camp, being in the position of a confirmed 0-for-3 score in the pre-Christmas UK dates. On a tangent, and mainly to cheer me up from the prospect of missing the Scala, I went to see my other Reading faves A Genuine Freakshow in Leicester tonight and made sure to do some further lobbying for AGF to support PRR at a future gig. I know Jamie is super-keen on this happening and obviously for me it would be a musical perfect storm akin to Radiohead supporting R.E.M. down the road from me in Milton Keynes back in 1995. Talking to Tim and Simon from Freakshow, they are very much up for playing with PRR too and hinted that initial discussions had taken place, albeit nothing was agreed yet. Please, PLEASE let this happen! (Also, I highly recommend AGF's first support tonight - www.freecontrol.co.uk - as Simon AGF described them to me, they were a little like a mix of 65dos and Portishead: that should be enough to whet anyone's appetite!)
