guys. We've been talking with thedarkfourth so that it would be nice to make a farewell card for the band from our board community. All of us that will be at Heaven gig would sign it and we would give it to then at the afterpasty. Just say your sugestions. Yeah man, I can't wait for the afterpasty! I always love a good afterpasty. As well as making a card, could we maybe make a massive sign to hold up in the crowd? There's probably enough of us to hold one letter each, or maybe just a long banner. Too ambitious? What other ideas have people got? I kind of feel putting my name on a card isn't quite enough to repay years of amazing music...

Hmm, I reckon less in more in this scenario...I'm not sure this gig is the place for things that'll take the band's attention away from just playing and performing, and enjoying their last show. Gestures for afterwards are obviously nice but I reckon things in the crowd etc might just distract from the gig itself in a way. But that's just my opinion I guess.

Yup, agreed with BA on that. As someone who's purposefully only chosen to go to the London show so that it stays as special as possible, during the gig itself I'm going to want to have all my focus on the music and the performance, so I agree that something like a big banner or similar would be distracting. That said, I'd practically offer the life of my firstborn after the show to demonstrate how much I've appreciated the band and how much PRR will be missed.

I'm just gonna put it out there but there's a chance they might find human sacrifice a little creepy, so maybe give that one a miss...

What are stage times/doors btw? I finish work at 6 and it'll take me almost most of an hour to get there. And I'd super like some food before hand. But I dint want to miss Losers mk. 2...

I don't know the times but I'd be surprised if Losers start before 7:30. I imagine prr will be on around 8:30/9 and finish about 11.
I also agree with BA's point. Could we do anything big and symbolic (though probably lighthearted is best) after the show without sacrificing our offspring?

Af'noon - is there a nearby pub where board members are looking to meet up before for a beer? Not been that active here of late, but did meet BA once upon a time (Cargo gig I think, or Water Rats...) Trying to arrange to meet 2 friends who are going too, and can't find Heaven on Google Streetview either.
It's going to be a sad/great day - can't wait!

Nice vid disintegration, though maybe it should go on the other thread for now (ie it may contain spoilers...)
OK, new idea. How about this: We sing to them. After the show, we can get a whole bunch of people together and sing a song - I was thinking maybe the song "wouldn't it be nice" by the beach boys, which we could change the lyrics to so that it's relevant to prr splitting up and how sad that is but also what a great band they've been. We could print off loads of lyrics sheets so everyone knows the words. And maybe someone would be able to bring a guitar to accompany us?
Just an idea...don't be too mean about it!

Or we could even sing a prr song? Or would that be weird (not too mention probably too difficult!!)?

Actually, I like that idea quite a bit. Though I have to say that doing this without a little practice is most probably going to be a real challenge. I'd much prefer a non-PRR song, I think it just wouldn't fit. I wonder if we would find a bit of time to give this a dry-run, though. "Wouldn't it be nice" sounds like a very good choice.

I'll happily observe if you guys go ahead with this...but I'm not going to lie, I'm so not up for singing, personally...
