The band has announced its 5th studio album, Above Cirrus, coming May 6 2022. Another great opportunity to return to this wonderful old-school forum! First single New Kind of Evil is great, here's the vid: www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKJ7LOwhYdwThe band is touring soon, including a London date in April (very sad to say I'm out of the country) - unclear if they'll play songs from the new record or from Eupnea or the classics.

Ah, good to see a post back on here- I didn't even think to check it before the gig but I wondered if I'd see any familiar faces in London on Sunday (sadly I didn't!)
If anyone's still reading...was great to see PRR play live again although definitely not quite the same for those of us who've followed them for a long time with 3 out of 4 band members changed (that said, obviously Greg is an original member and I could definitely pick up his vocal sound from the original Dark Third in the live set.) If I'm being honest, as much as Annicke did a good job, Chloe left big shoes to fill. Her vocals plus not having a live bass was a big miss for me. Nonetheless it was brilliant to hear PRR songs played live again and hear some of the new tracks for the first time.
Setlist for the whole tour was: Silent Genesis Phantoms Apprentice of the Universe Bright Ambassadors Arrival/The Intention Craft Bullits Dominae Ghosts & Typhoons Deus Ex Machina AVO
I was surprised not to hear New Kind of Evil seeing as it's one of the new singles and would have loved either Eupnea or New Obsession to have made the cut, I always miss Twyncyn/Willows too when it's not on the setlist but now they're on Album 4, there's never going to be everything in one set. I forgot how great Deus sounds live though!
Looking forward to the album on May 6th, not long now and it seems a bigger tour is on the cards for 2023 hopefully.

Hey all!
I was there on Sunday too (left after Leprous at Royal Albert Hall and JUST made it before PRR started 🥵
Blondeambassador I recognised you and your mum from gigs long agooo haha (was a bit shy to say hi and obviously it was loud AF)
So great just hearing those tunes again, but agree it just wasn't the same without Chloe. Was already gutted that Jamie and Paul didn't return for the Midsummer Prog concert a few years back. That was an incredible show by the way, I had to make the trip for that one! Fight Fire was ridiculously good at that show.
Can't bloody wait for Above Cirrus

Thanks for posting the setlist, gutted to have missed it, sadly I'm abroad at the moment. Great to see a lot of the classics still make the cut, although it seems strange they only played one song off the new record.
I really love Above Cirrus and have been listening on repeat! The drop on Cruel Deliverance has been officially added to my list of all time favourite PRR moments.
