Artist: Gazpacho Album: Night Favourite track: Really haven't decided yet... Reason: A lot of people were raving about them over at Marillion.com so I decided to take the plunge. Have to say, it's one of the most hypnotic albums I've heard for ages. It takes a while to grab hold, but once it does it's incredibly addictive. I particularly love the violin (if that's what it is!) sections. It's a real slow-burner of an album. Love it! You can check it out at www.gazpachoworld.com/music/streaming/ ;D Great album this one. And Sylvan - Presets as well!

I wouldn't go so far as saying Red Sparowes are doing anything 'experimental', who is in post rock these days?! Very good albums none the less though.
Sticking with post-rock Yndi Haldas 'enjoy eternal bliss' ep is stunning (i know, not an album but it's an hour long!). Again, not doing anything new in the genre really, quite godspeedy, but they have a slightly more uplifting vibe to a lot of their stuff that's heard less often in post rock.

Haha, how'd you know them?! They have an album too, it's a bit of an Oceansize rip off in places but it's pretty good for what it is. The lead singer is doing solo stuff: www.myspace.com/charliebarnesHe has an album that's alright really, send him a message and I'm sure he can get it to you.

He tends to be a bit rubbish with stuff like that. I know he's busy at Uni and that mind. Just poke him a bit more, I'm sure he'll sort it sooner or later.
