I WAS incredibly excited about the new album. About two years ago...now I've lost interest completely, what with them treating their fans appallingly over the last year or so- still gonna go to the Astoria show in September so hoping they'll win back my attention as Finelines really was a stunning album.

I saw them at the KOKO having not heard them before and they were ace. The new stuff is good, they just need a label to put it out.

Verrry excited about ULU gig on Saturday! I conceeded, even thought I swore I'd never go see them again because they treated their fans pretty badly...but they are just so damn good! Finelines definately still stands up as one of my favourite albums ever.

Awesome band...sadly Som had mostly lost his voice so that didn't help and I can't say I'm keen on their new bassist, very labourious...not out of time just not quite what I'd like to see in My Vitriol. But regardless of what they do or how much they annoy me, Som simply writes brilliant songs. They must nearly have enough new ones for an album by now!

Yes brillinat gig - you know they're a good band when they can pull off something as amazing as that when they're singer has no voice. Although it serves him right for saying "fucking" every other word.

Oh dear, lets not start another swearing-gate in the MV thread...we've only just got shot of the PRR one... But yeah, Som never really comes across that well on stage to me, he's not exactly the most humble of blokes and always seems a bit of an idiot. But then, he's allowed, purely due to his sheer musical brilliance. Oh...and the fact that aesthetically he's the male equivalent of Chloe doesn't do any harm either

It's easy to forget how awesome this band are, I saw them last night in Leeds, in a tiny venue, and it was immense. Crowd started off semi-interested and by the end it was slightly mental! Som seemed a bit more...humble than usual too, which was nice. Even if they still kept up typical MV behaviour by being 30 mins late onstage. Still no more new songs other than what they played last year in London though...but the new ones they are playing are SO good, I just want them to put them on a god damn CD!

Good band but they've been kinda shitty to their fans. Shame.
