Very good indeed, after two listens. It needs a lot more!

CD2 that came with the box set ended up whipping the crap out of CD1 on a pound-for-pound basis, says I. House Of Cards by itself unfortunately means that this is a 'good, not great' album for me: it's their worst song ever for me, and I include the likes of Pop Is Dead and How Do You in that hall of shame. Boo.
On the positive side, Nude, Reckoner, Jigsaw, Down Is The New Up, Go Slowly and Last Flowers can stand toe to toe with any individual song from their past, but overall it's still not their best work - which would be OK Computer or (whisper it) Hail To The Thief for me.

I think that the album is very good. The band has matured, but they still have the talent to produce great lyrics, good melodies, and Thom's guitar work is excellent.
I didn't hear the entire album until I bought the CD on 1-1-2008 (I don't like iPods or byte-programmed music).

I thought it was good aesthetically speaking, but I was dissapointed that they're not breaking anywhere near as many boundaries as they used to....they seem to have taken a step backwards in experimental terms. Great to listen to but not as exciting as their previous work.

It's the only Radiohead album I really like. I even bought the diskbox.
