yeah, pretty much. might actually go to the norwich away game instead.
That Setanta Pre-Season last year was immense. shame we played like turd though.
I think our pre season dutch tournament is on Sky Sports this year.
in short, I'll be at the fly.

Wicked, didn't realise the Feyenoord thing was gonna be televised, that's a bit of a bonus. Would be good if some channel picked up the Roma game as well, I'd really like to see how we fare against some really quality opposition (cos I've got zero chance of getting to that looking at the ticket prices ). Had a look at the dates of the fixtures on the official site, and my hat goes off to you if you make it from London to Naaaarge for a Monday night game, hardcore fan-ery! ;D Anyway, mike/mike1, we have another one on the list.

yeah, my folks live up there, so it's not too bad really.
as for Roma, I might do it. I went to the torino game last season, it was a bit tame to be honest. not too fond of friendlies to be honest.
I'm getting higher up the waiting list for a season ticket, so hopefully I shall have a second home next season in Park Lane!

Nice one, if you get a season ticket then the Park Lane is the only place to be, by far and away the best atmosphere. Traditionally, I started off going with my family to the West Lower (the proper prawn-sandwich territory!) cos that was the easiest place to get tickets for non-members. Last season, through friends of friends, I managed to get sat in the Park Lane on two occasions (my only other game at the Lane last year I was in the away end - long story - with the Arnorthosis Famagusta fans in the UEFA Cup, though I made it to the Cottage to see Fulham away), and I love it there: really noisy and they always out-sing the Shelf.
WE'RE THE PARK LANE, WE'RE THE PARK LANE, WE'RE THE PARK LANE TOTTENHAM!

ah the famagusta game! I was there. wasn't the away end just full of gooners?
last season, I was in Park lane for all the games i went to, except one (west ham, yeah, the 4-0 one!) when I was in Paxton.
I also went to the game when jol was sacked. worst game ever.

Yeah, I was watching the Getafe game on telly and it was miserable as sin just doing that, so I can only imagine how much worse it would've been to be there on the night. (My actual lowest ebb last year was the Newcastle 1-4 at home: that result was a ****ing disgrace considering the state they were in, and I was just mortified at how badly even our more reliable players let us down that day, absolute joke.)
The away end for the Famagusta game seemed to be all Cypriots from where I was, but they'd obviously done their homework to be doing Adebayor chants the week after we got done by the Nomads. Still, the response [from the Park Lane as it happens] of "You're just a small town in Turkey, small town in Tuuuurkey!" was pretty funny. I was as near to the West Stand as it's possible to be in the Away corner, and at some point someone in the West Upper started waving a Turkish flag about and it kicked off big time all around me, loads of Cypriots trying to get over the barrier and get into the West Upper before the police stepped in and calmed it down. That's the closest I've ever come to getting in a ruck at the football, and it's not something I'm particularly keen to repeat...

There are some photos of a few of the people who were going to the Water Rats gig here: prrambassadors.proboards41.com/index.cgi?board=live&action=display&thread=57&page=5And being a Forest fan, Mike, there's loads for you to join in with when me and nekroman get on to talking all things Lilywhite: your opinions on how fat and useless Andy Reid was; why Michael Dawson has a perma-grin that he can never wipe off his face; whether to love Jenas for his goals or berate him for his tackle-dodging defensive play; or perhaps debate whether Colin Calderwood should take his place in the Tottenham Hall Of Fame with the likes of Greaves, Jennings, Hoddle and Lineker...

ummm...
yes, thanks for the £s for tubby reid and dawson, the only man I think to miss a few games because of a nasty migraine.....ummm.
actually being such an old git I remember some interesting clashes over the years going back to the late sixties.......umm was always a good game forest v spurs irrespective of the winner...
speaking of tubby chaps I prefer to think of how fat boy big head jemson always used to do so well against you lot........that was of course before clough decided not to play him in the cup final (to teach him a lesson) and chose eddie hopeless and hapless glover instead.....oh my gawd....
I do believe jon c is a reading fan though...now the garribaldi reds have them first game of the season......I know where my money is....and if CC plays with 6, yes 6, at the back like he seemed to do for the first game last year against the mighty bournemouth...we are going to get well and truely lamped......
so obviously i will need an extensive prr tour come the autumn to lift me from the depths of despair.....

I might not be going to the Barfly gig, but, I am fortunate enough to finally be seeing the Foo Fighters tomorrow! This is one I've been waiting for since... oh, since I first turned on the radio. Anyway, cheers to both gigs.

Out of interest, does anyone remember/know if the Barfly has a cloakroom?
