Anyone tried the new Apparatjik album We Are Here. Might appeal to the more electro taste, not normally me but maybe I have been converted by the more electro tracks off AVO. Has Jonas Bjerre on vocal/keys/guitar so some of the tracks obviouly will appeal to Mew fans. Standout tracks for me after a couple of listens Antlers, Deadbeat, Snow Crystals. Check some of it out via youtube or there are samples on their facebook page.

it's getting panned by a lot of Mew and non-Mew fans. I don't get it. It's not as good as a Mew album, but it still has many tracks I find myself enjoying. Like mew + electro/industrial/new wave.

Yeah, I've been quite enjoying it...some of the electronic bits jar a little but some bits are still very Mew-esque, probably down to Jonas' vocals. It's not going to be an absolute favourite but it's certainly a decent enough album.

Right, should I take the apparatjik plunge? I finally have all 3 main Mew albums and love them all dearly - antlers seems alright, should I go for the rest?

Mew actually have 5 albums, but most think of them for their last 3.
I'd recommend it, especially since you like Mew and the songs you've heard.
