I'm completely obsessed by that song, it's in my head 24/7, even in my dreams ...
How do you guys hear the lyrics?
All I can hear (not in order) : "falling in you, raising the love" "Raises the love, falling with you, raised by the love" "Staring in you, raising the love" "Gloaming us around" or "Gloaming our surround" (none of them actually makes sense ...) "Come here close, and then I'll bring you under ..." "Finds love, finds love, finds *something* love"

It means "the twilight" or summat like that. There is a kids' rhyme about "roaming in the gloaming" that I used to know when I was young, but have since forgot. But it's not a very common word: the only other time I've come across it has been for Radiohead's [totally fucking awesome] song The Gloaming on Hail To The Thief.

I'm kinda staying away from the Water Rats boot and consequently, Gloaming, until the album comes out. I don't know why, rather, I don't have a reason. I just now noticed this.

You're seriously missing out...
On the other hand, you're also going to enjoy the song alot more when the album comes out...

I love hearing early new material and how it changes to the final version. I guess the Water Rats Gloaming is pretty close though. It's incredibly addictive though, and I salute you if you have the patience to hold out til the new album

Good morning community.
I've heared GLOAMING at the Rockpalast-gig for the first time and I'm truely addicted to it.
So I'll be going to the Eclipsed-Festival on Nov, 22nd in Aschaffenburg just to hear that song (and a few others) again.
