While looking at PRR's Last.fm charts, I've noticed several strange songs. First off, Apogee of My Love and Les Malheurs appear to be on there with like one listen each (I assume these are some bootlegs that were never distributed?). Even more interesting, there's one on there for "Les Malheurs Final Mix." What I really wanted to ask about, though, were some bizarre song titles I'd never seen before by PRR that appear to have quite a few plays on Last.fm. "Corporate Handshake," "Human Zoo," "Lil' Doggy," "Brief Reminder," and "The Clearing" didn't appear anywhere on the PRR Discography page. Any idea what these are? Possibly new tracks? Here's the link: www.last.fm/music/Pure+Reason+Revolution/+charts?rangetype=week&subtype=tracks

The Apogee and Les Malheurs tracks would seem to confirm that there is indeed a bootleg of the Barfly show in existence somewhere in the ether then. Would love to hear that if anyone finds it. The second part of your post all refers to very early songs recorded during The Sunset Sound era, so I can pretty much confirm that we won't be seeing any of those boys on the new album. Hope that helps.

Yeah, I've definately heard confirmation that those bootlegs are around but like others said, I think they've disappeared into the realms of the unknown, very annoying that I can't get hold of it! That would explain the fact of the new ones, considering they are two of the ones played at the barfly.
As Lawrie said, the others are obviously just labelled by that by someone on their library, thats the only downside about last.fm, whatever people name their tracks get uploaded.

Or the band/someone connected has been playing them. There's unreleased REVERE stuff in the charts that I've played.

Cool, thanks for the info! I've looked around for those Barfly bootlegs as well, but no dice. Fortunately, next week they start playing shows again, and we'll probably hear even more new songs! Exciting! It's a shame I live in the States, or I'd go see them. =(
On a side note, I'm pretty much willing to kill for their new album. Here's hoping they drop some details at one of the shows.

Hur hur I like the idea of PRR dropping details...normally it's a good night if they get past "thanks".

It's not been officially released.
