Amazing.
Decent size, good stage, good pa, good in house engineers (are PRR still using their own?), good food (though I can't remember how much they are serving at the moment, and the mexican round the corner is too good to ignore). It's also got a big fuck off screen which is great for projections, though they aren't using them now I gather?

I thought about this, if it's really shit don't blame me! It's normally a good venue though, my favourite of that size in London.
might be 'cos I like seeing my projections up big though...

in most cases, bands like to wait to release their albums a month or 2 into the year. Early year releases suck due to the fact it's still post X-Mas season..people doing their taxes etc.

Argh...Cargo gig is bad timing because it's the bastard week where I've got to do double tutework. Argh. Argh. So bad.

Mmm, it'll involve me missing some uni and if I pursue the plan that I'm thinking of and go down South from Saturday for My Vitriol and stay til then, that'll be basically an entire week gone. Oh well...

Oceansize publicity over in Uk was helped by street team sign ups....we need to make sure we all sign up for PRR promo stuff...
yes what is Cargo like I was wondering about that myself....havenever warmed to Shoreditch way but will of course set that aside given the delights on offer.
I am very disappointed at the put back of the release of next lp...as the saying goes spring so easily turns into summer, autumn etc...........ummmm

Do you not think it's a good idea that it doesn't get buried in the Christmas rush, or released in January when credit card bills make many people think twice about further spending though? Personally, I think that [given that it's now clear the album wasn't ready for an early-October release at latest] it's a decision with very sound commercial logic behind it, and one of the better logistic decisions that I've seen the band/their management take since I've been following PRR.

It all goes back to the old classic discussion of 'It's ready when it's ready!' I trust both the band and the label to do whats right with the release date. Yeah we'd all love it out now! But I think the wait is half the fun! Kinda makes the pre-album gigs more fun too.
Anyway, someone got a live Nearfest CD going spare?...
