I'm happy to go along with isador's bets on Requiem being the 'epic'.
Let's start placing bets now..

wait a sec...a) there doesn't have to an epic at all! and b) how do you define epic? It's a totally subjective word. I'd say almost all the songs on TDT are pretty epic.

I guess that really it's a matter of opinion, upon reflection...
By epic I suppose I mean the 'defining' track of the album.

Even then, we could argue between Bright Ambassadors and Intention Craft as The Dark Third's epic. I wouldn't worry about it too much. I think, like the dark fourth said, that pretty much the whole thing will be epic.

Even then, we could argue between Bright Ambassadors and Intention Craft as The Dark Third's epic. I don't think you could really, especially as The Intention Craft wasn't even on the original UK release of TDT.

But it is part of the original intended track listing... where did you get this information? just for my own curiosity.

But it is part of the original intended track listing... where did you get this information? just for my own curiosity. I can answer that one...the band have said things of the sort in several interviews over the years- they wrote all the tracks originally for the album, then decided to release the EP and didn't want to duplicate everything off Cautionary Tales for The Dark Third so changed their original plans for a track listing. That's also why they changed the track lisiting between UK/US release, because Cautionary Tales hadn't been released in the States.

But it's not goin to be on album two. I *really* hope not. As much as I love PRR and always try to take the band's side in any decisions, they would go massively down in my estimation if The Intention Craft appeared on Amor Vincit Omnia. I'm on record in the past as to not being too enthusiastic about the 'recycling' of some tracks (Bright Ambassadors on 3 different releases, multiple release formats of The Dark Third etc), but I've given the band the benefit of the doubt up and accepted that the messing about by Sony and subsequent move to Inside Out was responsible. However, there can't be ANY excuses if I have to buy The Intention Craft again - I already own it on Cautionary Tales, two editions of The Dark Third (and it could've been 3 if I'd bought the American release as well), and as a standalone single in its own right. I'd feel completely conned if it turned up on AVO, partly because I'd be paying for a track I already own many times over, but mainly because it would feel like the band were out of ideas: I have a friend who often criticises my like of PRR because he feels they have 3 or 4 songs and nothing else - something I've always refuted to him - but I don't think I could defend against that argument any more if TIC turned up again. Please, please, please say that you were being tongue-in-cheek with that, NM! Guessing that it must've been a joke to wind up easily wound up weaklings like myself, but put me out of my misery here!

I think I can say with a fair amount of confidence that there's no way the band would do it, no matter what anybody, nekroman or otherwise, says. It would be madness and as far as they are concerned, they HAVE already released it in all countries in some form or another, it just didn't make it onto the UK Dark Third for exactly that reason, it had already been released! I think the fact we're even talking about it is fairly laughable to be honest...

Haha, yeah like I say, kinda know deep down that Mr Nekro is just playing about and not being serious, but I'm an utter worrywort and couldn't help from typing a post like that despite it being as unlikely as the prospect of the band putting a cover of Fix Up, Look Sharp on AVO... ;D
