So, probably pretty much doing a complete u-turn on what I said in the other thread about loving the cohesive sound of the album, I feel this is an inevitable question to ask... Answers on a postcard...with comments if you so choose etc always makes it a bit more of a discussion Although right now, I confess I'm personally struggling between a few, and like with TDT I'm pretty sure it will change a vast number of times. Ok, ok, so for now I'm going to say Apogee, as not only is it a brilliant track, it also has my favourite single moment of the album on it, as I already said, the bit at the end 'so hard to believe you, I'll fade out and burn in your love...' Sheer beauty. Closely followed probably by Gloaming, AVO and Les Malheurs for me I would say...

AVO. I love everything about this song: the subtle piano, the way each layer is gradually added, the beat and the hypnotising "Amor, amor vincit omnia". More people I was talking to share this opinion. "This 'Amor, amor...' engraved in my mind and I think it will stay there for at least half a year", as one of my friends said. Amazing piece!

Agogee/Requiem closely followed by Deus and Gloaming in fact all of it is good except Disconnect and Les Malhuers. I even don't mind Disconnect that much but Les Malhuers is easily the weakest track especially the 80s electro-pop sections, just not very original at all, unlike the electro-rock of the better tracks. My only critisism on the whole is not enough guitar and there is less of a group feel to it than TDT.
