So, the latest bulletin confirms what we'd thought, that Deus Ex Machina will be the first single from Amor Vincit Omnia:
This also confirms what we were wondering about whether or not AVO would be on sale at gigs after 9th March...so good news all round. And 3 versions of Deus? One will be the original, one I've heard whispers could be the Rhysmix remix...but I wonder what the third will be...

wait but... i can't afford to go to a show this time round Well you can still get the download, just not it on a disc, something I'm sure with modern technology can be easily done at home However, not going to a show? You surprise me, its a shame...no gigs near enough?

oh yeah, i reckon the download will be just the main track though... we'll see. i live in london, so distance isn't an issue it's just money. living in london means my rent is crazy, and i'm on a massive economy drive at the moment. i might be out on tour with a couple of bands myself in march which is going to be a massive drain, i need all me pennies

*gets ready to shamelessly scrummage and barge past anybody standing between me and a place in the first 25 of at least one gig I make it to*

don't get me wrong, i LOVE living in london, it's just really expensive. there's a couple of other gigs i've booked around the same time as well and a few other expenses coming up so i just can't justify it to myself. shame, but there you go. next time eh.

What happens if you're going to a show before AVO is released? Is this "offer" still valid?

Slightly off-topic, but seeing as BA has posted Jamie's latest update in this thread, I'm not going to create a whole new separate topic: just went to the new Superball site, and was reading the blurb about PRR on their mini-site up there. The following sentence made me chuckle: "It [ Cautionary Tales] warned you what might happen to a band sticking to their guns, but then stuck to them anyway." Haha, that looks like that was written by someone German at Superball... (Albeit that's still a lot more coherent than my German these days!)

Makes sense, that's where the label is based. Nice hi-res album art though

Oh my, that blurb does read in quite an amusing way...I don't think it's the language barrier so much as the over flowery language, I think someone got a little carried away with trying to be creative with the whole thing in places...
Also does confirm that it is indeed Chloe's artwork as we had already suspected.
Do like this choice quote though...

Actually, I wrote that before quite finishing reading, the closing passage about the blend of influences etc is a very smooth and moving description, so I take back my harsh criticism of that writer a little...damn my natural cynicism!

Well I was planning to hit the first and last dates of the UK tour, but I have a poster presentation for my final project on the 18th (London show on the 17th) so that's a bit of an arseburger.
Like Jemi, I want to know what you can do if you're going to a gig before the 9th - can you still get the three track CD? Maybe if you swear on your turtle's life that you'll buy AVO!
