I agree with so many of these but thought I'd chip in 8 months later with:
- At about 1.25 In Deus when the synths aggressively breakdown (?music speak not my best point) for about 2 seconds. - The bit (mantra?) between the two choruses in Trembling Willows where Jon is left alone singing "father save their lost" (in fact any sudden silence for half a second always gets me particularly if there is a snatched phrase above it) - The live intro of In Aurelia on the Nearfest CD - When HTTSTM cracks in at 2 mins - Apogee going nuts after the piano led bit
Anyone got any more with the new album release?

I really like the end of AVO ("Stand as you know, can't hide forsaken"), and the part near the end of Les Malheurs where they just sing the background chorus part ("I can seal it under your skin...") and the pleasing synth comes in.
All three glorious minutes of Asleep Under Eiderdown are musical perfection.
The build up and explosion in the middle of Apogee ("You raise hell in me, my love. . .").
The fast/heavy violin (or is it a horn?) and guitar breakdown when VIW picks up.

I love the verse from about 3.08 in DEM. It builds really nicely and the delayed vocals make it sound sinister before it drops back into the pre-chorus. Cool ;D

The heavy bit in The Twyncyn/... at the moment, but I'm sure it'll change soon

The heavier synth bass riffs near the beginning of The Gloaming... The chorus in Bloodless... The E-drums intro in Voices in Winter. Golden Disco.

I'm late to the party, but any chance of telling us where and how you picked up these? I really like the Sunset Sound songs that I've got (I bought the singles from Velocity) but there are several songs I haven't heard.

Some great bumping on this thread: I'd completely forgotten about it and it does seem a very good time to bring it back now AVO has hit the shelves.
Ok, well my previous nominations probably stand for pre-AVO material, but here's a few new faves of mine now we've heard the studio versions of the new tracks:
- Any part of Les Malheurs where Jon and Chloe's voices are harmonising around each other. Sheer genius. - The "You raise hell on me" and subsequent guitar/electro heavy freakout part on Apogee. I think this could well prove to be quite a popular consensus choice, it looks like a couple of people have mentioned this already. - The choruses in Deus: they're just immense! - The vocals towards the end of Bloodless where Chloe's vocals come in over Jon singing "Amor amor love". - The very short pause before the heavy guitars kick in during the "Amor amor vincit omnia" part of AVO. This is probably my favourite individual moment of any PRR song to date, just utterly brilliant.

Yup, I'll have to say the a capella bit in Requiem, The bit where the riff kicks in in Deus, and all the rest of Deus, the heavy bit in the middle of Golden Clothes, 'and if we die like this right now' of Victorious Cupid (album version and also the same bit in the Cedo Simplex remix is great), the fist few lines sung by Jon (not the vocorder) on Disconnect and of course the last half of AVO. My TDT choices are somewhere earlier in this thread.

Got a new one, the interlinking vocals over the main riff at about 2:50, woah.

When Ambassadors Return kicks in so suddenly. I remember the first time I heard it on Cautionary Tales, and it was incredible. Amor, Amor Vincit Omnia from AVO. Again, remember the show where I first heard it, and was singing alone almost instantly.
