Sooooooo....
Its been a while people...
I thought I would pop by and give a very quick update...
After a pretty slow beginning we are now picking up the pace of the recording process and we've started all but a couple of songs...I can honestly say this is the most excited I have ever been about our music and I really cant wait to be able to play this stuff live... For the time being this is all I will say on this subject. It's nice to keep a little mystery surrounding things.
So the first dates are up for this year, which are:
April 23 - 013 Tilburg, Nethelands April 24 - Turbinen Halle , Oberhausen, Germany April 25 - Colos-Saal, Aschaffenburg, Germany April 26 - Z-7, Pratteln, Switzerland
This is just a mini jaunt supporting the band Riverside. We are in the process of booking headline dates, however nothing set in stone yet but hopefully we will have some more news for you all soon!
Told you it was a quick update....
Take care all.
Jx

Great to hear from you again - have fun with Riverside, they're a cracking band (even though whenever you say you like Riverside people automatically assume you like the Sidney Samson...thing).
Oh, and please listen to Alex and come to Oxford.

Yeah, me 3 for an Oxford date! I'm no longer in Oxford, but the Zodiac (or Oxford Academy, or whatever it's called now: it will always be the Zodiac in the hearts of the people) is a nice convenient venue in logistical terms for me, and I've had some of my favourite ever gigging experiences there. Have PRR been back to Oxford since I saw them supporting The Dears in 2004? Can't recall another PRR Oxford date since then... if so, the City Of Dreaming Spires is overdue a visit!
;D

And Oxford does have a wide range of venue sizes and styles. Academy might be a bit of a push (1000 capacity) to fill on a headline tour I guess (in an ideal world you guys'd be playing Wembley) - but Jericho Tavern is 150odd and O2 Academy does have a couple of smaller rooms (450 and 200 odd, I think). I'd be putting a pretty firm line with my friends at least and I reckon I could cause about 20 people personally to come along, and hopefully a bunch more with a newspaper article... And that's just little ol' me.

Nah, don't bother yourself about silly Oxford...It's CAMBRIDGE you owe gig dates to. You still haven't made up for the cancellation last May. Plus, I can trump the Kealmeister by saying I can promote you on newspaper AND radio. If you play the junction I will weep with joy.

Google "the Fenlands Polytechnic of East Anglia" and you should be able to find its university...
