A friend in my eleventh grade music theory class casually mentioned them one time, and the name stuck with me. I searched for them online that weekend and found their MySpace. Victorious Cupid was their first song I heard, and I was blown away. Then I heard Twyncyn Willows, and my jaw dropped and exploded. Then I heard Bullitts Dominae, and I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I was hooked, and that friend who mentioned them later let me borrow The Dark Third, and that settled everything. And then I suffered for two years waiting for Amor Vincit Omnia. I love this band.

I knew of them through Porcupine Tree, and then saw threads about the current tour on both the Frost* and The Pineapple Tree fora, and decided I would go along to the Reading and London gigs. Bought both albums at the Reading gig, and was blown away by their set. Decided there and then to go to the Leeds gig as well. Totally hooked now, and loving the noises Jamie produces from his guitar.

I was browsing through the "Other Bands" section at the Muse boards where I found a thread on PRR. Being a fan of Porcupine Tree, I decided to check the band out, and I thought that they sounded "special" Downloaded The Dark Third, and after about 3 listens I became hooked. Been a huge fan since.

Yeah, Last.fm for me too. You can waste *far* too much time on that site Although, if you find stuff this good it's hardly a 'waste'...

Last.fm for me too. Best discovery I ever made. Gears of War was my second best discovery (told all my friends it was gonna be amazing many months before it came out, but they were all skeptical), lol!

I was looking for bands that sounded like Muse on wikipedia, and this led me to the Neo-Prog page. PRR are pretty prominent there (it's basically them and Blackfield), and so I checked out their myspace, heard Bullitts Dominae. I didn't think that much of it at first, but it wouldn't leave me. I found a radio station online that played the track and downloaded the whole show so I could cut it and listen to Bullitts again. Finally I got around to buying Cautionary Tales, then iTunesing the Dark Third. When I got the chance to work street-team for the opening gig of the AVO tour, I jumped at the chance. I told my brother to listen to Cautionary Tales to see why I was so excited. That same day he decided to come to the gig, and I sang along with AVO the very first time I heard it.

Oh, I've never posted in here....
I was introduced to them just under a year and a half ago, by an ex. I spent the whole summer with In Aurélia virtually on repeat, until I bought Cautionary Tales For the Brave, followed by TDT later. The bloke might be out of the window now, but I haven't looked back as far as PRR is concerned!
