Yeah it was great, shame the main set wasn't a bit longer. I would have liked the adition of Apogee. The string trio also played on AVO as well as the encore of old stuff. They were a great addition to the sound.

I loved when they came back on for the encore and Chloe said something along the lines of "we're going to play some old songs for you..." Then someone shouted "DISCONNECT!" haha Jon was trying to hold back a smirk!

she said " We're going to play some golden oldies" and I was nearly sure that we are going to hear GC The best gig so far by PRR I've been to! it was also very nice to meet mhx, the dark fourth and ryan.

They were superb!I had a great time! Got my CD signed by all the members; so, i'm a happy camper. Second time meeting Chloe. What a sweetheart! They're all fab, though. I wish their set was longer. But, then, if i had my way, they'd still be on!! ;D Really though, looking forward to more stage time next time i see them; whenever that nmight be.

They were great. Sounded very tight. Tom added loads to Fight Fure with the bowed guitar as well, he's such a diva though! The strings sounded very nice as well. Main set felt a little short but I understand why they did it that, one more song might not have hurt but there was a lot of energy. I can see why they've not done Bullits live as well, it was good but felt a touch over-long. Still nice to hear though! Ambassadors and Deus were my highlights I reckon.
Nice to see the band smiling so much, Jon in particular. You could hear the grin in his voice at times!

Actually I thought Bullitts was a highlight of the set. I thought all the TDT tracks were on really top form, while some of the new 'uns were a little week if anything (mainly Valour and LMLR). I didn't think the extra guitar added much to Fight Fire. Jon's vocals were too low for several songs. Blitzkrieg was utterly amazing - such a shame they didn't play Open Insurrection! To me Chloe seemed even more crazily happy than Jon, though I'm not sure she was performing as well as at Koko or Hoxton. Thought it worked well having the old stuff last and separated off by the encore. Strings were awesome. The venue was amazingly full and everyone seemed to enjoy the night. Fantastic gig. More AVO please! Fragmented/nit-picky review over.

yeah! I've never seen them so cheerful on stage- it was awesome. Personaly I think Fight Fire was the highlight of the night with Bellany on stage. Blitzkrieg at the place where I stood I could hear to little keys and too much bass drum- but it was outstanding still. hope on dvd the mix will be very good. Agreed with ryan- more AVO!!! I also expected the gig to be a bit longer...

My opinions are pretty similar - was good, could have been longer, loved Bullitts, loved AVO, loved Blitzkrieg - thought the strings were incredible in Intention Craft; enjoyed Patriarch a lot more than I did on the album, thought Black Mourning was ace, Fight Fire did have a great energy to it.
(I was also shouting Gaudete, some guys in front were shouting Sound of Free as if that wouldn't have been awesome).
Anyone else think they could have dropped The Last Republic and used that time to play longer? The other two supports - Clean Bandit and Losers were interesting and original, whereas Last Republic were a bit... normal... fine, but nothing special.

unfortunately due to flight delay I couldn't see both Clean Bandit (which I was looking forward to ir) and Losers... that what I was angry at! The Last Republic did not influenced me at all. Though Jamie appearence was kinda cool. I did not managed to shout anything for I was to excited that we might hear Golden Clothes as I wrote above

I'm sorry for those who went, but I'M SO GLAD THEY DIDN'T PLAY GOLDEN CLOTHES.
I'm selfish, but I'd have been upset if I'd missed it. Sounded like a great show, looking forward to the dvd.

As others have said, great gig, really enjoyed it. Was feeling quite sorry for myself and generally antisocial, so sorry for not being more talkative to anyone who came across me but I was just glad to have made it there.
Yes the set could have been longer, I really wish PRR would up their game in that respect now as when they said it was going to be the longest set they ever did, I was maybe expecting a little more (possibly one support less would have given them room to play for slightly longer.) But, I thought the strings were great, really enjoyed that touch. I've never been a huge Bullits fan but it was great to hear it and I was impressed with how tight the harmonies were, given they've not played it live much.
Also, fantastic that they've finally got women's t-shirts on the merch stand and they're even quite nice! For the first time, I have a PRR t-shirt that actually fits and I will wear in public!
