How does the B&W one reflect the bands current image? Personally, I prefer "lighter" themes, so I use the proboards default...Out of the dark ones, the B&W one looks the most professional, and I like the Cautionary one the most. Well, the picture in the banner is from their most set of publicity pictures and the font is in a similar style to the one they are using at the moment in their promo material. mrguy - I could potentially look at making a 'light' skin, if people think they'd use it? It hadn't occurred to me before that all our custom skins are dark, personal preference creeping in a bit there. It wouldn't be for a week or so though, already spent far too long messing about with skins for one day. But if you'd rather just keep using Proboards default, that's also cool.

OK. So, as the general consensus is that the yellow is impractical for the forum, I decided to try a more functional new design. I hope this one is more to people's liking- as much as I want a new design, to reflect the band's current image, the last thing I want to do is scare new members away with yellow. IMHO, this new theme is a lot more accessible. So thanks for making it the default. I feel very bad bitchin' around again, but to me the band photo looks a bit squeezed vertically... I'll shut up immediately if you tell me that the original image looks just the same. Thanks for putting your time into this!

Hopefully it's better now- I've put all this time into it, may aswell take an extra couple of minutes to get it as 'perfect' as it can be

I think I'm the only one who prefers "light" themes, so it's probably not worth your time It's odd. Whenever I design a site, I'm usually naturally drawn to having a dark theme. I do this when designing most things (like my foobar theme). I think it's because I use this site mostly from my iPod, the light skin makes it easier to read...

I think I'm the only one who prefers "light" themes, so it's probably not worth your time Well, that's why I thought I'd put the option out there- if anyone else is interested, it gives them a chance to speak up and if there's a want for it, I'll do it when I get some spare time. If you mostly view it on a small screen, I can see why using the proboards default would make more sense regardless- it's less image intensive etc.

Ha - just noticed I'm officially a patriarch. A little upsetting as I've always considered myself a feminist...but I guess I can put PRR ahead of womankind...
