After giving the Ourlives single a proper listen, I have to say I really, really like all the tracks: an excellent little EP/single. Having discovered PRR from a more mainstream background (via Hope Of The States) as opposed to the more common prog background (via Porcupine Tree and other similar bands) that a good percentage of their fanbase seem to have, I'm often not all that impressed with some of the PRR-related recommendations I've heard. Been disappointed (compared to my expectations) with Oceansize and Blackfield, and Porcupine Tree are good but not inspirational for me. So it has been really nice to discover a new band via PRR - even if it was just through the ORG single - that I think I might really get into and explore. Which means even more kudos to Sean and the team at ORG, best freebie I've ever had!

Anyway, aside from that they seem like a top class outfit - presume everyone got the email from Sean? Seems like a really, really good little label. Agreed, thumbs up for ORG; I've not had a listen to the Ourlives CD as yet, but it's stuff like that (extra CDs and the like) that makes me want to plunder their back catalogue for other delights.

Further brilliance by ORG:
After being so chuffed at getting a free copy of the Ourlives single packed in with my Victorious Cupid, I subscribed to the next 10 ORG singles for a tenner. Sean at ORG had said that anyone who signed up to the next 10 singles would get copies of any old ORG singles they still had in stock from their back catalogue for free. Well, today a big parcel landed in my letter box and I found that Sean has sent me no less than THIRTEEN free singles - what a legend! Haven't had a chance to listen to any of them yet, but even if I only end up liking one out of the lot of them, it's still a brilliant bit of customer service and makes ORG worthy of huge kudos.
Once again, just absolute legends there, hope they continue as long as they're enjoying doing it.

I wish I could be that impressed with ORG. Even slightly. I ordered this single when it was first announced. I waited a fair old time and eventually a package from ORG turned up. It contained two of their flyer things and a piece of cardboard. I emailed them to let them know that I had received no CD. After telling me that the CD was in there and asking me if it looked like it had been opened, Sean told me he would send another one out. I heard nothing. I waited for as long as reasonable and then emailed to inquire if it had been sent. I heard nothing. Well, I wanted the single and it was still listed as available. I ordered it again and PayPal'd the money. I heard nothing. I emailed again. I heard nothing. Thinking that perhaps my email address was stuck in a spam filter, I emailed from work. I heard nothing.
So I'm not impressed with ORG and worse still, I don't have the single. Which makes me sad.

Wow, that's not good at all. Feel your pain, that must be a terrible situation to be in if you've been looking forward to the single for that long. All I can say is that my experience with them was completely different, and it seems really strange that the two of us have had such polar opposites in our dealings with them. Weird. Hope that things work out for you with your VC single in the end...

I was away for a couple of days, and when I got back, there was the single in my mailbox. It would have been nice if they had answered an email after my second order, but they came through so its good news in the end.
