Hi guys,
just to let you know I'll be interviewing Jon on my new student radio show tomorrow (Monday) evening at 8pm UK time. This is however subject to all the technical stuff going OK - the radio station recently had a massive virus which screwed it totally over and some things still don't work occasionally. But gods willing, it'll be quite fun I hope.
You can listen online at camfm.co.uk or on 97.2FM if you're in Cambridge.
There will also be a special preview of a track off the new album which ISN'T Fight Fire, Black Mourning, Patriarch or Valour. Please please don't record it onto your computer!!!

Please please don't record it onto your computer!!! Experience shows the only way this will happen, is if nobody knows about it!

So, I assume there won't be any recording of this then (like a podcast)? Could someone write down what is said, or is that too much to ask?

I too wonder if it's possible that you could record the interview, with the song omitted? Or, as mrguy said, a transcript. I'm really curious about what Jon has to say!

There might be a recording system, I'll have a look and let you know. Unfortunately Jonathan (manager) has now got back to me and vetoed the song I was going to play, so it'll have to be one of the already "released" ones.

Sounds good, I'll be tuning in :-) I'll try and keep a note of what's said in case a recording isn't possible.

Nice show and a very good selection of music! First time in years I've listened to a radio station for one whole hour without feeling an urge to switch it off. ;D
As for the interview, I found it quite hard to understand everything Jon said due to the fact that he was on the phone. Maybe I should have put on my headphones.

Last year all the shows on the station were recorded, and available to listen again for 6 weeks. However, the station's had a revamp and a new website and I can't find the listen again option any more. However, I've spoken to the station manager and she says that the website is about to be re-revamped and then you should be able to hear the show I did on Monday. If not I have a recording of the interview itself which I might be able to upload somewhere if I get time. It's not the best thing ever, but I enjoyed the chat. Nice show and a very good selection of music! First time in years I've listened to a radio station for one whole hour without feeling an urge to switch it off. ;D You're too kind. Feel free to listen again next week! As for the interview, I found it quite hard to understand everything Jon said due to the fact that he was on the phone. Maybe I should have put on my headphones. I know what you mean. It's a lot easier to hear for me in the studio - for some reason when it comes though on the online player thing the sounds quality is far poorer. Just one of the annoyances of student radio I'm afraid!

It's because you're compressing an already compressed signal.
I couldn't tune in, but look forward to hearing it anyway if it becomes available.
