Fair play that it is seems to be a new recording from the Intention Craft single version that has been released in the past. I really like the way the band falls silent and lets Chloe sing a couple of lines of the final chorus acapella before joining back in - know they tend to do this when they do N&T acoustic, but the band absolutely nailed how that bit should sound on this take, I reckon.
Gotta say, my initial reaction when I saw their profile was a churlish and unprintable expletive - my Myspace home page said "Pure Reason Revolution have added new music" in the newsfeed, and I was thinking it was gonna be either the final cut of Deus or perhaps the rumoured other new song, Disconnect. So was surprised when I saw Nimos as the first song on their player - guess that's just my thirst for new material talking there...

They've never released an acoustic version of this tune, though there is an old radio session version knocking about. The Intention Craft is the only offical acoustic release, as a download.
This sounds ace, love the synth 'swirls' in the background and that.

Yeah, that's the one I was thinking of, the version from the download Intention Craft single. I think that my favourite out of the 3 acoustic versions is actually the other one you mention (the Mark Radcliffe Radio 2 session version), though the Victorious Cupid EP version does have the best, er, 'last chorus bit' for want of a better phrase.

Magnificent as always, is my predictable verdict, I'm afraid. Although I think it would be difficult for anyone to do a bad version of this song.

Lovely lovely lovely! Pretty much my boring and predictable response...though I'm not really in an acoustic appreciation phase at the minute, I'm after the loud rocky ones!
ANd yes....wow, that Chloe bit is very pretty!

I meant the song the intetion craft is the only offically relased acoustic track... there's not been one for Nimos And Tambos? I know there's some mis-labled mp3s knocking about, and two rips of the session though.

Yep, you're right again Ryan - I am being a dumbass again: d'oh! Looking back through my PRR collection, you're right in that the only official release of an acoustic version was that on The Intention Craft digital single, and that was TIC acoustic, not N&T. I was getting mixed up because of the acoustic version of TIC, and because I also have 2 other (unofficial) takes of Nimos acoustic - a recording of the Radio 2 session, and a rip of the audio from the London ULU acoustic set that Blonde Ambassador linked from the DotMusic videos on these forums a while back. What can I say? I'm an idiot!

Hehe, no worries. Ah yeah, I forgot the ULU session had been put online as well. I have a DVD I filmed at the time though
