I had decided not to publish anything in the month of August, which I consider the worst of the year because Italy seems like a dead country, with its head - and even its body - elsewhere, on what it calls holiday and which, in most cases, it's just a group sex at the seaside. In July, however, I just wanted to write fewer posts, because already from this month, if not before, we go on holiday, we think about other things and certainly not about writing, reading, or how to sell books. Eventually I changed my mind.
I opened my "Writing blog project" file, marked all the dates for July and August and started thinking and finding interesting ideas. In about two weeks I had filled every day and written Special Data almost every article too. Blue Pen doesn't go on holiday, therefore, for the "joy of my readers, who would have been worried under the umbrella", as my friend Pierluigi said . But it's not about making someone happy, but rather myself. In August you will be able to read posts every day on the blog. Those who follow me on Twitter will also be able to find them there, as I have automated the creation of tweets. It is therefore enough for me to publish here, on the Books to Read blog and on the one on Edgar Allan Poe, that a tweet is created and sent.
I also synced Twitter and Facebook, so the tweet will appear there too. And automatically also in my Linkedin profile. You will read 7 articles on writing, 7 on editorial promotion, 3 book recommendations, 1 on reading and 1 on writers, 1 report on a literary competition, 1 on the latest books purchased and 4 stories of 300 words. On August 1st there will be a summary of the best articles that appeared in July and finally the reporting of 4 articles on writing that I wrote some time ago and which may be useful. You will learn about the various articles in detail in Saturday's column dedicated to future posts. Happy holidays, then, and happy reading.
