Back on topic: Something For The Weekend by The Divine Comedy. Neil Hannon is one of the best people in the world to listen to on a lovely sunny day, as it is here.

I've been listening to the new No-Man album "Schoolyard Ghosts" a lot this week, it's gorgeous.
Really excited about the gig they've just announced, too!

Yeah but £20 for Bush Hall! I was there for three the other week! I understand they are a bigger draw but there's a point where you're just taking the piss.

Lots of PRR recently.
But besides that, the most i've had on rotation is:
"Planet of Ice" By Minus the Bear. The Ten Colour Accord. 3 (Mostly early stuff i.e. Half Life, Summercamp Nightmare, Paint By Number).
I highly suggest you look up those three bands.

I love that Minus The Bear album...'When We Escape' is my favourite track on it by a mile though, its a beautiful track. Oh, and I'm listening to the PRR live stuff Ryan just posted, so nothing too groundbreaking here! (Recently been enjoying the new Pendulum album and Flight of Conchords' album, its brilliant for a laugh, and really intelligent too!)

If I ever listen to it, I like to listen to the whole thing. It seems to flow so well! But I love "Part 2". I could listen to that over and over. Brilliant track it is.

Been listening to LOADS of Bruce Springsteen stuff (saw him t'other night, pretty much best thing ever) and LOADS of Converge stuff. Would struggle to find two artists so far removed in my collection I think!

The Police - Synchronicity.
Why? Because I missed it in the 80's.

The Sky Moves Sideways and Coma Divine (Porcupine Tree) and Frames (Oceansize), and Tightly Unwound (Pineapple Thief), and The Dark Third of course ...
These are all the albums I'll listen to at least once today ...

I've been digging Circa Survive recently. I hadn't heard of them until I saw them on the Kerrang! Tour in Bristol. I'd gone to see the headliners Coheed & Cambria and Circa Survive opened. They gave off lots of atmosphere and it was really spacey. Anthony Green has an incredible voice as well. Although I think its a very love it or hate it style. I desperately need to get some money so I can order both their albums. I don't know how long I can be pleased by just the Myspace songs!
