I would really love to go for 3 or 5 shows in October. Good plan, count me in! ;D

The XOYO show has just officially been cancelled, which makes me extremely sad as I won't be able to see them in Reading.

Anyone else going to see this gig next Thursday?
Haven't seen Maybeshewill yet, but they studio work is pretty good, kind of 65dos style with a touch more guitars. Long Distance Calling are one of the best live bands I've ever seen. Add even more guitars and amazing drumming and you have their sound. (I actually wouldn't mind them doing a co-headlining tour with PRR some day, as they're both signed to Superball ;D)

Awesome DVD. As mhx says, the camera work is pretty awesome, although I have one gripe with the audio - it might just be me, or the cymbals, apart from the hi-hat, are very hard to hear at times above the rest of the mix. Mmmmh, didn't particularly pay attention to the cymbals, but I agree that they're not especially loud. Just listened to some songs again and I think they're pretty well audible, though probably more subtle than in other recordings. Even though I'm a big fan of good drum sound, I kinda prefer if they don't blow out my tympanum. ;D

Did you guys receive confirmation your orders had been sent? I haven't... Yes. Received a confirmation of the Italia Wave DVD being sent out last Monday, I think, and it arrived on Tuesday or Wednesday. Can't say for the Scala DVD, as I picked that one up in Berlin.

OMG! I'm just listening to (and watching) the Scala DVD for the first time at home. What can I say? Jon did an amazing job with the mix. There's a perfect balance between synths and guitars this time. All the details are very well preserved. Dynamics are great. Camera work, as I've already said before, is very good. It's not boring at all to watch this DVD. That strobe thingy turns out to be not annoying at all. Picture quality itself is really good, despite some compression artifacts. Would have loved to have an HD version, though... All in all... if you haven't done so already... ORDER THIS DVD!! ;D

at the moment after Berlin gig I'm 70% sure that I will come here and Russelheim as well 70%? I'm 100% sure I wanna go. I'm slightly less sure I can go to Ittervoort, but I'm 99.9% sure I'll be in Rüsselsheim. Hope to see you there!!

Really like the DVD after a quick run last night on a PC with pretty crappy speakers. I find the strobe "blackouts" much less distracting than the weird issues on the "Hoxton Tapes". And lights are so much better, camera work is really nice... NICE!

Both shows in Berlin and Munich were amazing. The set was the same for both shows, but the Munich crowd beat the Berlin guys by far. (Probably due to the club being a lot smaller.)
I think the set (even though it's still lacking Goshen's...) is a brilliant mix of old and new stuff. I remember I wasn't a big fan of Ambassadors being played live, but the way they play it at the moment it's just awesome as well.

The Hamburg gig was great. Fantastic music, of course, a very good sound and a meet and greet after the show. What a wonderful evening! t minus 12 hours and counting...

Also, I presume the TDT shirt is not new? When actually printed, does it look like a square block on a shirt? If I can be as rude as to bump this - does anyone know? I have the shirt at home, but I don't really recall whether you can actually spot the "square". I don't think so, as the shirt looks pretty cool and I'm not usually the "plain-cover-on-a-shirt" guy. If you can wait until Tuesday, I can check. (Or hopefully someone else who owns this can check sooner.)

Oh, and yes, this trailer looks absolutely stunning. And given the quality of the gig itself, the DVD is surely going to be awesome. About the appearance of Mr Bellamy on stage, it was slightly creepy even in context.
