but to be more serious I think they could really drop the Exact color which is really in my opinion weakest song at the TDT era. No. No. No.

Too late. Was it any good? Well, I was slightly underwhelmed. If you knew German it was fun because the guy doing the show was really praising PRR as the most influential band of all times (which is the truth, of course!), he said something like "there is no more music now that there's no more PRR" as a conclusion. The actual PRR part of the show was rather short, though, and the only two songs played were LMLR and AVO. The full playlist (in reverse order) was: Pure Reason Revolution – Avo The Postal Service – Be Still My Heart Pendulum – The Tempest Bomba Estÿreo – Cosita Rica Archive – Lines Pure Reason Revolution – Last Man, Last Round The xx – Night Time Breakage – Hardcore Music Pendulum – Showdown Breakage – Open Up Animal Collective – My Girls The Prodigy – Omen So, especially if you don't know any German, you didn't really miss anything.

Setlist was:
1. Blitzkrieg 2. Black Mourning 3. Valour 4. Deus Ex Machina 5. Last Man Last Round
There should have also been (at least) Fight Fire, but there was no time left to play it due to massive sound problems before at the start of the set. Basically nothing was working as all the channel wiring had been just arbitrarily plugged in by the crew. The intention had been to start a few minutes before 8pm, but in the end it didn't start until about ten past.
Good news is that the audience was quite large and that both the sound and the performance were brilliant for the last 3 songs.

Very good question. I presume it'll be the *US* release, as this was the intended tracklist. I'm in two minds which one I want. On the one hand I REALLY want to see Exact Colour live, but on the other hand I've seen Twyncyn so many times and TIC is just such a tune! The Exact Colour has never been done by the band electrically either has it? They didn't mention it, so I guess it's not that version. This very fact just occurred to me, too... and I was actually hoping for TEC to be in the set. The US set would be 10 minutes longer, tho...

I'm sure they can't mean they're planning to split up after the tour - what kind of band announces a break up 5 months before it happens?? Haha, priceless, that part definitely made my day! ;D You're quite right, and on second thought I guess it just means what it means, that they're just not *planning* another tour after this one.

PURE REASON REVOLUTION - IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Hi There!
Everybody knows the moons made of cheese! But does everybody know that Moonloop open-air festival is made out of licorice? Well it is & it’s in the Crimea, Ukraine, Cape Kazantip 12/8/11. It’s taking place on a jetty of licorice land that extends into the black licorice sea. Aphex Twin headlines our night. We’ll all be wearing skintight black licorice trousers.
Next up, BIG “DARK THIRD” TOUR: We’re currently booking a tour that will take place between late October-November & will be a first for PRR, being a 2-hour/2-part concert.
Part 1 will be songs from “Amor Vincit Omnia” & “Hammer & Anvil”, Part 2 will be the original “Dark Third” in its entirety, including ‘Goshen’s Remains’ and ‘He Tried to Show Them Magic’ which we have never played live before! Dates confirmed so far:
Nov 11th - The Netherlands, Zootermeer, de Boerderij
Nov 12th – The Netherlands, Uden, De Pul
Dates for the full tour will follow shortly and will include shows in France, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Germany, Belgium and the UK but after these concerts there are no plans for any further shows.
PRRx.
While I'm absolutely blown away by the fact that I'm finally going to see Goshen's live, I just very sincerely hope that it's only me who sees the hidden word "forever" in the last sentence...

Just listening to it. Some parts are a bit strange (but that may be due to me having listened to sludge all day) but I totally love "Galacticus". Singing is Musey indeed. Looks like I can add another Kiwi band to my collection.

Just found this on last.fm last night. What a fantastic date! Seems to be authentic, as the Boerderij site lists the event as well. So I guess/hope/whatever that this is part of what the band recently announced as "the autumn thing". And that there's much more to come!

Feel this thread needs a bump and there's an amazing record that I just can't take my ears off at the moment: Meniscus - Absence Of IIt's quite old already, but I just recently discovered them and they're giving me a real blast.
