Just a few shots from the last couple of gigs. Not really in the mood right now for more editing... goo.gl/6zgJDThese are amazing, btw!

Trembling Willows was sounding as good as I've ever heard it, without any of Jamie's guitar! He kept singing like a trooper though. Also I swear it's always trembling willows that things go wrong for - it's such a hot tune that amps just explode when it comes on.
Anyways, I don't really have anything more to say. This tour has been the perfect ending. I have such gratitude to everyone involved, including all of you on the forum. Sorry for my incessant and mindless ramblings over the years!

I don't think I can organise the card, mostly because I don't really know what it should be like (handmade/store-bought? etc) and also I'm pretty busy today. Do you have any ideas? Also, now that you've tweeted me they probably know about it, if we care about that...?

Well obviously I'm not going to do it if it's just me.
Oh well. I guess we can always buy them drinks.

Or we could even sing a prr song? Or would that be weird (not too mention probably too difficult!!)?

Nice vid disintegration, though maybe it should go on the other thread for now (ie it may contain spoilers...)
OK, new idea. How about this: We sing to them. After the show, we can get a whole bunch of people together and sing a song - I was thinking maybe the song "wouldn't it be nice" by the beach boys, which we could change the lyrics to so that it's relevant to prr splitting up and how sad that is but also what a great band they've been. We could print off loads of lyrics sheets so everyone knows the words. And maybe someone would be able to bring a guitar to accompany us?
Just an idea...don't be too mean about it!

I don't know the times but I'd be surprised if Losers start before 7:30. I imagine prr will be on around 8:30/9 and finish about 11.
I also agree with BA's point. Could we do anything big and symbolic (though probably lighthearted is best) after the show without sacrificing our offspring?

guys. We've been talking with thedarkfourth so that it would be nice to make a farewell card for the band from our board community. All of us that will be at Heaven gig would sign it and we would give it to then at the afterpasty. Just say your sugestions. Yeah man, I can't wait for the afterpasty! I always love a good afterpasty. As well as making a card, could we maybe make a massive sign to hold up in the crowd? There's probably enough of us to hold one letter each, or maybe just a long banner. Too ambitious? What other ideas have people got? I kind of feel putting my name on a card isn't quite enough to repay years of amazing music...

Ahhh I wish I'd have known you were going to the Norwich gig! Sorry - not even I knew I was going to the Norwich gig until the night before, when I found out that the thing I thought I was going to that night was actually in the afternoon! And if I hadn't gone to it then I would never have gone to holmfirth, so the prr gods were smiling on me! I swear I saw a farmyard pig too...? That would be the strange little plastic leopard/cheeta that gilthar found in the flat we were staying in. Naturally when the soldiers came out they had to be given something to fight!

Nice jemi, I'd love to hear that! I'll just report briefly about what some of us have been up to. I ended up going to Norwich and then got dragged into coming to Holmfirth by mhx, guiltar and others, who were extremely kind in giving me a lift/floor space and are also as fun/geeky a bunch of fans as you could ever hope to hang out with!! Both gigs were epic. Norwich was in a church, and Holmfirth in this massive town hall which they did well to get as full as they did. It was also Jamie's birthday, so we filled the stage with balloons and party-popper confetti. Also there's all these plastic wwii soldiers everywhere that paul bought to prank jon at norwich. And bits of fruit for some reason. Jamie was drunker than I've ever seen him on stage and he missed about half his notes, but the music was still spectacular. Did I mention that I think my favourite non-TDT songs have been LMLR and Fight Fire? They're just sounding so huge. There was also a great light show at holmfirth, I don't know if that was Sarah or if it was some in-house lighting guy, but the timing was spot on. I regretfully won't make it to glasgow but I can't wait to see everyone at the grand finale on Wednesday. This tour has been a ridiculous amount of fun, and I think the band have really enjoyed it too, which is really nice. It makes things less sad.

Yeah I was at Bristol and I'll just say that they were as good if not better than I've ever seen them. Unfortunately due to a ridiculously early start time I accidentally missed the start of the set and only arrived during Bright Ambassadors! Still, the second half of TDT was AMAZING. It really brought home what great tracks voices in winter and bullitts are - they both sounded huge and beautiful, Arrival/IC was also great...I kind of felt He tried to show them magic needed a bit more practice but was still cool. The second half was also superb, though I would have much rather they had played open insurrection or a couple more from AVO rather than Twyncyn/Aurelia, which were fine but not as good as the main set imo.
Overall, it was so good that I'm seriously considering going all the way to Holmfirth or whatever godforesaken place they're going on sunday... plus obvs london!!

If you're at Nottingham tonight and you're also going to Bristol tomorrow, don't tell me anything about the set - I want it to be a surprise when I reach Bristol! I'm sure all the dirty information will be posted here (if not, I'll post it after tomorrow's gig) so I won't be checking until after Bristol. If you're like me and are obsessed with knowing nothing about things til you see them (I even hate it when people tell me that a film I haven't yet seen is good or bad!) then you might want to stay away from the boards til after you've seen the set.
Good luck everyone, and try not to cry to much! Let's make this epic. Look forward to seeing whoever's in Bristol and London! *cocks rifle, jumps over top of trench*

for some reason I thought that losers already had been confirmed for London...
Yeah I'm also a bit fearful that things will be more emotional than enjoyable there. Hopefully not "tortuous" though.
