a) I don't quite get it... b) Are you having another go at prr management? c) did you make up a joke about prr or did you borrow it from somewhere else? d) why does it have to be Simon Cowell asking the questions? e) I swear the guy who shows people round heaven is St. Peter. f) sorry to ruin your joke with lots of stupid questions...

Hitler: [in Nazi rant style] MY DOG HAS NO NOSE!
Nazi follower: How does it smell?
Hitler: AWFUL!
Ah...nother python reference but I coudn't contain myself...

Hur hur I love how monty python keeps coming up round here. This all does remind me of that sketch in the Holy Grail where the Lord guy with a northern accent is trying to give instructions to his guards to not let his son leave the room. ("and no bloody SINGIN'!") Classic.
Anyhoo, now we've established that we can't talk about The Topic That Must Not Be Mentioned, anyone got any conversational ideas? Any jokes?

Sometimes I wished I didnt care so much about them...but I do....perhaps the extent to which you care is in proportion to the level of anxiety....and therefore propensity to post.....on the other hand I could be talking crap.....wouldnt be the first time... Nice one. I like the number of elipses in that post. I don't know what you're smoking, but I agree with it. Frustration's mounting in the realms of the divine...I expect we'll get what we're waiting for just when we reach absolute boiling point.

Oh I don't know, I think it's quite a good debate. And it's applicable to more than just PRR. It's the great question: how much should bands focus on the publicity side of things at the expense of making good music? As a fan I naturally crave updates, but as a appreciater of fine music I realise that updates have to come a solid second place.
Admittedly the whole "and as 'fans' do your job by listening to their music and going to their shows" thing was a bit strong and unecessary on the part of 'Sticky' but I woudln't have called it "puerile" myself (good word though).
Yeah I don't think there's anything so terribly wrong with rehashing this subject - it's not like we've got anything else to talk about at the mo.

Basically, I think that everyone (at least subconciously) wants them to release a full blown amazing album tomorrow so they can listen to some new tracks from the most amazing band in the world. When we say 'we want more updates' what we actually mean is 'we want a new album asap'. We don't actually want updates about Chloe's lunch, and even being told 'we've got a few tracks finished' would hardly be satisfying! They've said very clearly many times that work is going on, so we can only sit back and wait till its finished, I'm afraid. We don't really have another option, and neither do they. It takes as long as it takes. And as for saying that they need to publicise it more so it does better when it's released, well I'm sure publicising will come when they have something to publicise!

Adam sure as hell is the real deal, he's worked with Kate Nash and The Rakes (not that I like either of them, but they're big), amongst other; not to mention, as Paul is well aware, Wire Jesus.
The DVD should be great!

The set is 68 minutes long, and rather fine as it turns out. Hopefully you'll like it in whatever form it arrives, when it arrives. Cool! Can't wait! Cheers man for telling us.

I dunno, Aeropause is probably one of my very slightly less favourite tracks...it's just a tad TOO Floydy....though I think it works brilliantly as an introduction to the Dark Third.

Wow it just keeps getting better! They played Aeropause live? Wow...really looking forward to it...you don't know if they played the Arrival bit before Intention Craft do you....? Only I quite like that bit...especially live.

Wasn't there something about a live album as well (not a DVD)?
