How's this for being far too precious about Tool? ...I just can't get my head around this conversation of all of these tangents to talent. Simply, if a band is talented enough, then they will naturally be driven to whatever fate their destiny will allow them to meet. It's some kind of magical, "Do what thou wilt." attitude I have towards the whole scene.

no one mentioned talent  i'm sure we can all think of bands that were great that didn't make it, but it's all subjective innit. you could argue it's pointless to talk about, but then so's all music thus rendering this forum pointless. |
