On the basis that I've been offered a lift to London, I'm gonna be there tonight. I'm expecting it to blow the socks and pants off the Reading show.

I'll be going tonight with the same uni mate I went to the Water Rats this time last year with - photos of the two of us in the Water Rats thread: prrambassadors.proboards41.com/index.cgi?board=live&action=display&thread=57&page=5#1083If anyone here's going and spots me, feel free to come over and say hello, always enjoy meeting people from the boards. I imagine BA won't be too far away from us in the crowd as well, so we should all be quite recognisable.

It was nice to meet you too, Neill I just have to mention the visual for AVO. It's simply mind-blowing. Some "clay-people" melting. Steals all the attention. I also like what Jamie does with his guitar during the disco-ending of The Gloaming. Weird high-pitched noise makes it really amazing. If someone wants to say hello to me today, I'm going to be the one with a looong pony tail, wearing a brown jacket with a fur collar and grayish jeans. See you tonight

I will be there tonight - I have a great big red asterisk on the back of my black hoodie and I will be scribbling notes. Feel free to come and identify yourselves, and maybe get a mention in the review

I think my second to last photo inadvertantly caught a still from the AVO visual; you're right it was very cool. Is my idea of fun at the end of a gig; get down on your knees and mess around with your pedals with your guitar howling away in feedback! Enjoy the gig tonight!

Cheers for the reviews, Rob and Baldy - loving all these reports that the sound mix seems to have been pretty much nailed for this tour: it's a huge factor in how enjoyable a gig by any band you care to mention is, but for a band with a sound as layered and complex as PRR's is, it's even more vital that the mix is as close to 'correct' as possible. My turn tonight, counting down the minutes already! I was at King Tuts Glasgow and really enjoyed PRR. This famous venue is really quite small and we were at the back. Nothing wrong with the mix but we were struggling to hear the band for the first couple of numbers because of people talking! Really good to see the songs of this great album played live though. I DIDN'T think that the the Glasgow crowd were totally into it despite reports but it doesn't help that the band are so focussed on what they are doing that there is little or no interaction. These are small gripes, however as I still felt privelidged to have been there. I hope to see them at slightly bigger venues in the future.

I should have mentioned that I was also at cargo which was superb.

The London gig was brilliant! I didnt really know what to expect, but, it was amazing. Really good support acts, great PRR setlist, great performance from them in general! + i bought AVO & got it signed. Anyone else spot Steven Wilson as well?

Er, I'll hold off from a review of last night since jamesa will be doing a better job of it than me anyway, and so many people here were at the gig last night that they hardly need me to tell them how it went! Just like to say hello to and how nice it was to meet (in chronological order, I think): musecubed guziec stumoo shedunit jamesa (and, as always, a pleasure bumping into BA and DA again) Hope you all had a fantastic night, guys and gals, look forward to seeing any of you I run into at PRR gigs in the future.
