Someone posted a bootleg of Goshens acoustic...I think it had the exact colour too...but I didn't know they'd done tried to show them magic...I guess it would be futile to ask if anyone by chance has the bootleg for that one...??

they have played goshens, but only acoustically. Ryan, I think you were there, at the ULU acoustic show? Ah... Yeah I'm being an idiot. Of course they did, and at the Reading show. And maybe the barfly one...? I was indeed at the ulu gig, I have the setlist and filmed it, which makes me even more stupid!

Silly me...I forgot I've got that on my laptop, forgot to move it onto my hard drive with the rest of my music! Bloody brilliant, I think I've said it before but I'd love them to do an acoustic set again, they've got plenty they could do (BLOODLESS...) alongside the old ones.

Does anyone know where the Deus backing video is from? I want to watch it on a loop because it's so damn mesmerising.

It wasn't so difficult. Hicks's animation was also used as a video for Intention Craft (now with The Gloaming) and I noticed the familiar face of a clown in related videos. Apparently they like his work very much. I just wonder what did he smoke before creating these visuals

Well, I've finally recovered from my weekend away... The Copenhagen gig on Friday was awesome. Same set as the second half of the UK tour (with Keep Me Sane/Insane) and with the intro that we heard at Dingwalls (the 'Amor Vincit Omnia' sample) which sounded really great. Set was really tight and...no technical hitches, the visuals even worked for the whole set, so was really great. Bit of a wierd stage, there was a pillar across the middle which meant Jamie was out on a limb a bit but the venue in general was nice. Not packed but for a first European tour, not bad at all. Apparently all the dates sofar have been going really well on this part of the tour, so all good news to report

all poland gigs have been packed tho, so good news there! Fanx 4 report. And they even had In Aurelia *sigh* Friend told me that they played 4 songs for encore: the usual, IA and Borgens Vor. That is SO not fair

They had In Aurelia? Woah, I'm jealous. Should have got over to Poland! Hopefully they'll play in when I see them in May

Soooo not fair! Should we have just shouted a bit louder in the UK? That theory would be born out by Reading, who didn't even get VIW, or Intention Craft. It's cool that they do treat encores like that but very annoying at the same time if you're not Polish!

I think the reasoning behind it, is that a lot of british venues have pretty strict curfew constraints, meaning that even if they want to play it, a second encore isn't always possible.

Yep, apparently they decided in Poland to add In Aurelia and Borgens Vor to the set and started the (only set of) encores with them. When I saw them in Stuttgart on Wednesday, however, they tagged them at the very end of the gig as a second set of encores, leading to the following setlist:
Stuttgart, Röhre 01/04/09
Intro Les Malheurs Keep Me Sane/Insane Apogee/Requiem For The Lovers Deus Ex Machina Victorious Cupid The Twyncyn/Trembling Willows The Gloaming The Bright Ambassadors of Morning AVO ----- Voices In Winter/In The Realms Of The Divine Arrival/The Intention Craft ----- In Aurelia Borgens Vor
That makes an 85 minute set (including the bit long-ish intro). Not bad at all.

Talking of the intro (the one that debuted at Dingwalls and has been used on the whole Europe tour), can anyone work out what it says, apart from Amor Vincit Omnia? Jamie told me, but I've forgotten...and he challenged me to get the reference.
