hehe, I knew that Cargo footage would get scrapped! Sounds good though, some nice live footage. Documentary has the potential to be either really interesting or really... not! But those things always are. I'm still excited about getting it proper!!

Mmm I'm so excited now and glad to see the final tracklisting- as for the one we hadn't noticed, love the idea of AVO as a track title, assuming it is what it seems like and an acronym of the album title- I didn't think they'd be the sort to do a title track but that seems like a really nice play on it. I can't wait, and bonus footage and all! Brilliant. Can't quite decide how I'm going to go about obtaining it though, I'd hate to think thats Leeds HMV won't be stocking it on the day of release but I can't say I trust them to, but if you pre-order it online you rarely actually get in on day of release.

They should have it. Superball have a good distributor, most decent places should have it.

I'm glad to see we finally have an OFFICIAL tracklisting! I guess Keep Me Sane/Insane, Apogee, and Requiem for the Lovers are sort of like different movements of the same piece? Interesting. I will definitely preorder the deluxe edition, but I want to see who all has it leading up to release. For future reference, does anyone know of any online retailers that might get this thing out on/close to release? Of course, I'm in the US, so I'll probably have to wait a little longer anyway. I really can't wait to hear this thing!

What an awesome evening! The mighty Lilywhites get their first Premiership win in ages, and then we get details of this lovely juicy deluxe version of AVO complete with a definitive tracklisting! AND I've spent a HUGELY enjoyable night with me and my friends having our first viewing of Korean cinematic masterpiece The Good, The Bad and The Weird, which was just utter genius! I need to get myself a lottery ticket, I'm on a roll!

I'm not sure what also, wow. there's going to be some disappointed 'prog' fans. i can't see anyone here being disappointed at all though. Well generally there's two types of prog fans, those who are interested in music which pushes boundaries, mixes genres and generally does stuff which would sound out of place pigeoholed under any one specific genre. Then there's those who just want to listen to bands who recapture the sound of the 70's prog giants. I'm certainly in the first camp, but I love all sorts of music really. My iTunes account has just played Horizons (Genesis) The Future Holds A Lions Heart (Darren Hayes) and Don't You Ever Hurt (Dead Soul Tribe), which is a fairly eclectic mix. From what I've heard, Amor Vincit Omnia is probably the most exciting album release in the last ten years, can't wait for it and it's just the kick in the arse the prog movment has been looking for. Every snippet I've heard from it has just sounded so special, and all I'm hoping for from it, is that the other tracks don't pale next to Deus Ex Machina and The Gloaming. Still, I'm counting the days at this point

My Dying Bride, Smashing Pumpkins, Red Sparowes and Massive Attack in the same day, beat that! On topic: What are the options for pre-ordering it (in north america) so far? I wouldn't count on HMV... EDIT: Maybe AVO is like what Cautionary Tales For The Brave was to TDT... It's only a theory.

I can't at this point, as I'm currently hooked on 'This Delicate Thing We've Made', and refuse to take if off repeat ;D cool taste in music. Kudos to anyone who has both Meshuggah and Transatalantic in their play list

Right, I'm sorry everybody but in response to recent activity on the forum, I'd like to remind you of the rules of the forum. I'm aware I may be a bit late in doing this and I apologise but I like to limit 'censorship' wherever possible so had hoped it wouldn't get to a point where I needed to intervene.
This forum in no way condones or supports illegal acitivity in relation to this, or any other band, therefore the posting and discussion of links to downloads of any recording which is available, or scheduled to become available, on official release is not permitted under any circumstances. I hope this makes our position on what is not acceptable on this forum clear.
Once again, apologies for modifying a large number of posts but I felt it had reached a stage where this had become necessary. I hope you all understand. If anyone has anything to take up with me on the basis of this, feel free to send me a PM, but the rule itself is not up for discussion.

question I have..will those special deals be available for a reasonable price on this side of the pond. I think I spent $12 or something for the CUPID single..hardly normal for a single anyway.
and to the comments about prog fans..I once was more on the side of the traditional..but in the past few years I'm into stuff that is at least trying, if not being "progressive" "experimental" or just different. If we got TDT part 2, that would be predictable and lazy in a lot of ways.
1 question maybe I've never seen anything but someone might know: Did Steven Wilson mix AVO?

I really hope Steven mixed it. That man knows what he's doing. But I haven't heard anything about that, so it's just speculation.
I suspect the album will be available for preorder on a few other sites as we get closer to the release date, hopefully to ship internationally.

Hopefully that bonus DVD will come with any version available in north america...
Or there's still Amazon, if I feel like spending an entire week of pay for PRR (which will probably happen)
